After presenting a soft and feminine debut collection a few months back, rising label Wanni Fuga is back with an edgier feel.

Fashion blogger Tosin Sho-Silva of Style By Alexandriah is fierce in the campaign photos for emerging Nigerian fashion label Wanni Fuga’s Resort Collection 2015 called “LIGNE”.

Using vivid colours interpreted with a modern edge, Creative Director of the label Wanni Fuga explains “I’m trying to achieve modern elegance by pertaining to something from the past in a nostalgic way! Vivid colours, bold prints. I look around today and I see a lot of ‘old school’ fashion being brought back. it’s amazing how the past comes back and becomes more refined. For me, the question became ‘how I do merge the old new with the new, bring out an Edgy look in a way that is in tune with the Nigerian woman.’
