You mean d dreads is off? Wow, impressed! Love Osas’s dress.
Hmmmm
July 4, 2015 at 11:11 pm
Osas looks stunning. Mehn, the dreads gave Gbenro a unique creative look. But Fade makes him look so much younger but he’s looking good. So, none of his Tinsel stars were there. I wonder what happened between him, chris attoh, and UTI.

The sexiest couple don marry. Congrats me and Mrs a Ajibade. I pray Gods blessings in your marriage. Gbenro cut off his dreads? Dat was part of his sex appeal. I used to imagine naughty tins with him during my crushing days pulling on his Samson locks while eh……. Chai, today na Sunday, I no fit complete my sentence.
Osas second dress is too haute. She couldn’t wear it as the first bcos dat can cause d pastor to stammer while officiating dia wedding.
Not feeling her hair. Lace front when pinned looks somehow. She could have gone for a correct updo. . But when u have natural beauty, u can get away wit anytin.

@ esosa
[email protected] locks. You are funny.
Congrats osas and Gbenro. You both complement each other. Gbenro looks better with his dreads, it brought out his creativity more. Maybe he just tired of the comparison with Uti. New beginnings, new life. May God bless both as you enter this new journey. Simplicity/elegance is not cheap either. Just bcos you don’t see shineshine, bling bling doesn’t mean this couple didn’t spend a lot of their hard earned money. They just did it their own way and focused on celebrating their love and having fun together. The funny part is, this couple is everywhere without been overthetop.
Instead of breaking your bank account or money that you don’t have for a wedding that doesn’t guarantee happy marriage or undying love. Be wise, invest in important valuable things like buying your home, education, savings etc Don’t try to outdo another, spend within your means.

I see people are disappointed about osas and gbenro’s wedding bcos it’s not as extravagant as the hype around it . To me, it shows how down to earth, simple the couple is at the end of the day. They are living according to what they can afford and not doing unnecessary show off. Osas still looks beautiful and gbenro looks handsome. Congrats and wishing them all the best.

It’s people like you that put pressure on these celebrities to go above and beyond their pockets to impress faceless people like you.

July 5, 2015 at 9:32 pm
It’s so sad, the competition among Nigerians is sickening. This type of mentality is what is messing up that country you can’t celebrate smth that isn’t flashy. So, many Nigerians go financially bankrupt for their wedding bcos this person wants to outdo another so their wedding can be talk of the town instead of focusing on important future investment. Most of those bella naija weddings are connected to excess government money or borrowed money just to show off. Then they go back to their normal lives looking for ways to pay back the borrowed loan.
I respect this couple more since their traditional and now white wedding. One thing, I noticed is that they focused on their love for each other and from families/friends. They kept it simple and having fun which says a lot about them. Another thing is, elegance/simplicity is actually expensive but those who are narrow minded don’t get it bcos they are looking out for flashiness/emptiness. Osas and Gbenro are a simple, down to earth and humble couple. And wise, they are looking beyond the hyped wedding even though they are celebrity in their own right and aired it on TV.
P.S they still managed to be the talk of the town without been flashy.

And what in the world is wrong with Davids bridal???!! Nigerian Women!! That’s why the world tags most of Naija women as fake. Its about how she looks in it and not if its some designer! My Goodness! Just be happy for a couple people. Can’t Deal! God bless the Couple biko!

July 5, 2015 at 4:28 pm
Hi Nma, I am a U.S citizen and I had all my wedding ceremonies in Nigeria. Where you get married has nothing to do with your children. Even if she has her children in Nigeria, as long as she is a U.S citizen, her kids are automatically citizens. I guess she just wanted to do the ceremonies separate so that everyone in her life can get the chance to experience her wedding.

EXACTLY missatl… that second dress was IT for me… i don’t think i like Osas” overall wedding wardrobe (but for that second dress) first the makeup artists for both her trad and white weddings did a terrible job. I saw the pictures on intagram and wasn’t impressed at all. I am Edo and i know how boring that our red wrapper attire looks so if you don’t GET the look funny. Osas has what i call deceptive beauty, WOW is come pictures and just there in others. This is one day she should look WOW… not overly expensive but WOW… Oh well HML to them …
To those who will come with the whole hater rant save it… if they didn’t want criticism they should have done like Mila and Ashton and done a quiet wedding,

Na wa for some Nigerian women sha.
Marry a man much older than you, you be ashawo and golddigger (Iara Oshiomole)
Marry your junior, you be old mama (Lola Okoye)
Marry your baby daddy, you be stupid girl wey no get sense ( Anni Idibia and co)
Marry according to your pocket, you no get class (Osas Ajibade)
Na wa for una o. Not all weddings starts with “boy meets girls, they fall inlove and they marry”. Not everything is in black and white, there are varieties in between. Go for what works for you and leave others to theirs.

@Ute, God bless you, I wish I could press like 1000 times, people just criticise just for the sake of critising, how many people can afford to have all those expensive weddings we see on Bella Naija only a few> I know folks are entitled to their opinion but what is wrong with wishing them a genuine Happy married life and move on. Osas looked lovely in her wedding dress and Gbenro looked handsome, I am glad he cut off his dreads.

I guess having the wedding in USA is a sutle way of not inviting everyone. The American embassy stringent visa regs solve that problem in contrast to the traditional wedding extravaganza . Good for you guys and HML.

so can we talk about the wedding wardrobe??? the dresses, gele, jewelry, etc were kinda off. I am not talking about price or whatever but they just didn’t match properly. like the looks were not properly coordinated. bridesmaids, where were yall to guide the bride??
3rd outfit – gele & makeup looked messy, lets stop fronting.
yes she wanted a simple dress but its not befitting for a bride. remember she is Model abi, so most peeps expected whatever kinda dress she wore to sit on that body properly. I don’t care if she wore walmart bridal or LaGanza Extravaganza, she wasn’t wearing that dress, it wore her.
she didn’t serve me bridal realness, I don’t know, something was off. and please David’s bridal has better looking dresses okay!!
Happy Married life. Gbenro seems like the kinda guy that is judged based on his looks and its sad when people do that. I bet he is one the best behaved and well mannered guys in nollywood.
Gbenro shulda not cut the dreads now….loved it. something mysterious about them and he was like some Sango zegzy gawd with the dreads….lol
