Ikeja Residents Will Experience Power Interruption for 4 Days – Ikeja Electric Warns

The Head, Communication Strategy, Ikeja Electric, Pekun Adeyanju has stated that there will be power interruption for all its customers at Alausa, Ikeja Shopping Mall, Allen Avenue, Ogundana, Alade, Aromire and environs.

In a statement released by the company on Sunday, Pekun Adeyanju said the interruption would occur from September 2 to 5.

He explained that ‘The power interruption is to enable the company to carry out replacement and upgrade of the equipment at its Alausa injection substation with the aim of achieving better power supply services to the areas. All efforts will be made to restore power on September 6, 2015. Ikeja Electric appeals to the affected communities and thank you for your understanding and cooperation whilst we carry out the work’
