Ikeja Residents Will Experience Power Interruption for 4 Days – Ikeja Electric Warns

The Head, Communication Strategy, Ikeja Electric, Pekun Adeyanju has stated that there will be power interruption for all its customers at Alausa, Ikeja Shopping Mall, Allen Avenue, Ogundana, Alade, Aromire and environs.

In a statement released by the company on Sunday, Pekun Adeyanju said the interruption would occur from September 2 to 5.

He explained that The power interruption is to enable the company to carry out replacement and upgrade of the equipment at its Alausa injection substation with the aim of achieving better power supply services to the areas. All efforts will be made to restore power on September 6, 2015. Ikeja Electric appeals to the affected communities and thank you for your understanding and cooperation whilst we carry out the work’

    Like that’s a shock. The only difference is that they had the courtesy to tell people that live in the affected area. I hope they remember to prorate the bill for the five days they didn’t supply any electricity. But then, that might be too much to ask.

    We haven’t had light in my area of Lagos for two days and Eko disco hasn’t bothered to tell us what’s up. They don’t care but they want you to pay the electric bill at the end of the month. Oloshi..

    Good job PHCN, but plssssssss remember Ibeju and it environs, we have not seen light for the past three years. BN pls create platform where people can lay their complains, we need change in this country, Mr president, the governors and those concern needs to know the complains of the people. We do pay our taxes and other levy, I do not see any reason why we should not enjoy these facilities, it is not really fair. Pls His excellency Ambode come to Ibeju rescue.
