Meg Otanwa & Ezinne Asinugo debut Floral & Feminine Pieces for Uju Estelo’s 2015 Collection!

Uje Estelo Collection Lookbook 2015 - Bellanaija - September019

There’s a new fashion label in town, and it’s ‘giving us life’ with glamorous dresses, chic jumpsuits and bold prints.

From rising fashion designer, Uju Estelo, the eponymous womenswear brand is already a favourite for celebs like Bolanle Olukanni, Ini Edo, Natasha Ngube and more.

The 2015 collection, modeled by Ezinne Asinugo of the CEO Dancers & actress Meg Otanwa, has been created for the modern day woman who wants to be glam and noticed when she steps in a room.

The pieces are very feminine, soft and figure-hugging, with variations of floral prints, lace and embellishments that add to the feminine allure of the collection.

They look like “partners” doing a pre wedding shoot.

the girls are so short, they spoilt the clothes. they don’t make me want to buy the clothes at all.

they dont have model bodies, their bodies are not proportional.

the clothes look so cheap and regular because of the women they used.

nigerians designers continue killing the nigerian modelling industry. continue hiring ur friends to model ur wears. continue taking away jobs from hard working nigerian models.

I personally think blonde hair on black women is just so tacky and classless plus how can you make me buy these dresses with these girls modelling it ? Abeg next time use proper models that have grace and presence not just because someone is a celebrity that means you can just use them to promote your collection .

I disagree with you guys…i think the designers is going for the everyday (regular sized) woman and the models to me slayed the look.. Am not skinny or tall so from the models i can see how the dresses will suit me. i will definitely buy the dresses. tho i don’t particularly like the picture of back-view of the white dress Ezinne hair colour and haircut from behind took my attention away from the dress…

Hmmmm now we know where ini edo borrowed the gown she used for vanguard allure photoshoot and she was acting as if she actually owns it. #BUSTED#

    • Yes!

Is there something seriously wrong with you? You are clearly unaware of the fact that in photo shoots they are provided clothes to wear by the on set stylist! To suit the theme/style direction of the shoot!

So where did you gather that she acted like she owned the clothing? (Or dress for this matter)

People love to spew so much venom anonymously, go and wash your mouth out with soap! Disgusting!

There is reason models are traditionally tall and with a certain measurement specification. These pictures are laughable, probably the clothing items are nice unfortunately i can’t see it! Next time get actual models, the ladies are beautiful in their own right but modelling clothing ..NAH!

The designer would have made the dresses to fit the people modelling it. I don’t really mind who models the cloths but it must fit the person to the T.

Honestly, I liked the designs, but I think someone did not pay attention to details. It’s a photoshoot for crying out loud, the least you could have done was steamed or ironed the clothes, so they don’t look drab. Also, a little nip and tuck with pins here and there, would have been nice, just to get some sort of fit on the models.

Contrary to what you all think, I’m seeing beyond the models and all but it takes one who is fashion minded tho…. Hoping to meet u soon Uju. Keep it up?

Meg modeled the clothes better because what she wore was more suited to her personality. The blonde chick would have done better in edgy designs. The clothes wore her and not the other way around.
