Are You Missing your Shuga? WATCH BellaNaija, Shuga Naija & Media Stars ‘Inside MTV Base Shuga’

There’s no disputing MTV Base’s Shuga is a well-loved and well-watched drama. If you’re a super Shuga fan, this mini-documentary might soothe your post-season finale blues.

Now the latest season has wrapped up, the producers caught up with the show’s cast, stars including Emmanuel Ikubese to Dorcas Shola Fapson, and crew for their take on how it is to work on the award-winning hit show.

From about 20:30, Ink Eze, an assistant editor at BellaNaija.com, shares why we think Shuga has a winning formula. Also featured is OAP Toolz. They talk Lupita Nyong’o‘s Oscar, the show’s AMVCA award win and more.

Beyond the glitzy part of the show, Sharon Ezeamaka who plays Princess pays a visit to Apapa General Hospital where they specialize in PMTCT – Prevention of Mother-to-Child Transmission. She also meets with an HIV+ mum who just had a HIV- baby.

In another part of this mini-documentary, Timini Egbuson and Sharon attempt to buy condoms at a local store.
