#HeinekenLFDW2015 – Day 2: Moofa’s “Labalaba” Collection!
Womenswear design Label, Moofa, gave us a dose of Summer perfection with her Spring/Summer 2016 collection at Day 2 of the Heineken Lagos Fashion & Design Week 2015.
The collection, named “Labalaba” which translates to “butterfly” in the Yoruba language, lived up to its name. Each piece paid homage to the flying insect with soft hues, butterfly prints, graceful gowns, and a pretty finish with dainty head pieces.
The collection was one of our favourites from the night and definitely made an impression on the guests who attended.
All we can say is brava – great collection! Check out the pieces below;

Beautiful collection. The best I’ve seen so far at this fashion week. It’s different and can be easily worn off the catwalk unlike the other avant garde/plain jane collections.

her store is in Ikoyi.. isa le eko street.
love love this collection!!!! absolute beautiful stuff.
on another note.. Yinka has such an amazing personality very very down to earth. She has a lot of good stuff in her store(she does amazing beading)..yes but what led me to finalising a purchase with her was her personality.. and her flexibility. I really think she is underrated

LDA ish…. does any of the design close to what LDA showed. if you are talking about the name of the collection a lot of designer has paid homage to butterfly my dear, sophia webster for example. Stop being silly hiding under anonymous
