IPOB Responds to Buhari’s Al Jazeera Interview “Biafra would not tolerate Nigeria”

Published

 on

Biafra mapThe Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) have replied President Muhammadu Buhari‘s statements about Biafra in his Al Jazeera interview – click here if you missed it.

In a statement titled, ‘Response to Ohanaeze and Buhari’s disparaging remarks about Biafra on Al Jazeera,’ the group said in Enugu via its spokespersons Emma Mmezu and Dr Clifford Iroanya –

We wish to reiterate for record purposes that our leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has not mandated Ohanaeze or any youth group to negotiate for his release. The agitation for Biafra is a long and arduous process and the entire IPOB family all over the world understands this approach as espoused by our detained leader.

We have not come to merely agitate, we have come to restore or die in the process. Some people think we are joking or can be easily dissuaded from this divine path that God-Chukwu Okike Abhiama has mandated us to follow.

Any negotiation on Biafra must be led by Nnamdi Kanu and nobody else. If roads, bridges and a few junior staff at Aso Rock are our problems as Biafrans, then IPOB worldwide can fund such infrastructural development alone and very soon, we shall do it. Our quest is Biafra- nothing more, nothing less.

On the issue of Buhari’s Al Jazeera interview on Biafra, we welcome his comments because Biafra would not also tolerate Nigeria. Lord Lugard created Nigeria not Chukwu Okike Abhiama, God Almighty. So, like USSR, it will collapse. We, the IPOB Worldwide have decided not to go back on the quest for restoration of Biafra. Nigeria is not bigger than USSR just as Buhari is not stronger than Michael Gobachev. Buhari can kill Biafrans as he did during the 1967 to 1970 civil war, but this time, it will not be the same.”

I have never really looked into this issue, until I saw the map today.
Since when did Biafra include the south south?
Does that mean I will soon become a Biafran in the future?
Hmmmmmm Nigerian’s please, let’s try and be unified.

@James Part of the South South, who in Bayelsa, Crossrivers or Akwa ibom speaks Igbo? Why should they follow anyone to become a minority group again? When the South South wants to break away from Nigeria then we will follow.

Utter jokers! With Anang, Eket, Warri, Agbor, Yenogoa etc. Did they ask to be included in this contraption? Or is this a figment of someone’s imagination? (rhetorical question.)

Biafra now includes south south?’ I laugh oh
Nigeria is a sovereign state what IPOB is pushing for is treason.
Whilst his nuclear family is comfortable and safe in the Uk Nnamdi wants to set fire in South East.
They want to break Nigeria up abi, do they not learn from history. Biko is Sudan any better off now? Clowns carry agitation of a small few yet want to speak on behalf of millions.

These so called IPOB leaders should tell us their motive for adding the south south states in their map if it’s nothing other the oil.. Biafra ko, Biafra ni. I’m from the south south region of a wonderful country called Nigeria, my history books didn’t tell me that we were created from a certain biafra country, so if they want to break off, good but we are certainly not going with them. Any day south south region decides to break off from Nigeria, I’d gladly go with them(I know it’s not going to happen even till the end of the world?) so these people who have been brainwashed with the strongest hypo formula should just carry their biafra shit to the north and claim the northerners..

Gentle men and ladyz, all states mentioned in the map is truly Biafra because these parts was known as the Eastern Region in the 60’s,.. i am a Rivers man, and i’m indifferent (my opinion) about this issue, i think Biafra deserves a Referendum only “IF” they come to a consensus with the Niger-Delta and agree with one voice

IGBOS are dangerously corrupt, I see the creation of another vehemently out of control corrupt state, the likeness of Uganda in East AFRICA.

Maybe they can separate along north and south. But even then the YOROBAS passionately dislike and look down at IGBO’s luck of moral upright. In addition YOROBAS would prefer to be on their own. culturally distinct from IGBOS. In truth Biafra, IGBOS are not authentically west AFRICAN as much as they are Central African. So this will just lead to Innevitable tribalism, the like of Hutu-Tutsis.

The only people who stand to greatly loose from this are the igbo population! They have more to gain combining their Central African work ethics with west AFRICAN Yoruba mentallity, this is great for the competition of both peoples.

THE NATION SHOULD BE COMPELLED TO REMAIN INTACT BY FORCE; THE AGITATORS SHOULD BE NECCESARILLY NEUTRALISED!

What part of my comment maybe default.

      – IGBOS. Are dangerously innately corrupt. Just youtube how police around the world are dealing with the nigerian Scam problem, in Asia they’ve deemed it the igbo problem! Because 9/10 of this scammers are igbo! This is true. No moral standard set however low and the IGBOS will SUMHOW painstakingly limbo right underneath it.

      – Secondly, YOROBAS will gladly take it up with the IGBOS before the Hausa. Even tho the FULLANI have prob killed more innocent yoroba than IGBOS. But it’s just the agitation of living with someone with such low corrupt collapsible moral values. It’s subhuman and substandard and no one SHULD have to put up with it. Would u live in a pig house or barn ?! That’s what it’s like to live with somebody of such low collapsible moral value! Like the IGBOS.

My dear, let the Igbos leave if they want to- make we hear word.
They are so irritating at times. They can’t stand to live in and their develop their own states, yet agitate for secession. Go to their states/villages and see for yourself. How many of these Lagos bred ones especially can go to live in one Eastern state? If the kitchen is too hot and you feel you have been unfairly treated by other tribes (especially by the Yorubas who no even send you) then you have the choice to exit their states.

They cry fowl at the slightest reason and appear to be still bitter from the civil war. All these may never end till they have their way.

BN I know u are Ibo, so you may be offended and not post.

OSa you’re Benin… where do you live? How one classifies a whole tribe based on very little information is beyond me, There are major cities around the world, new York, London, Paris and they are filled with foreigners… In those countries most towns are not as developed… And no I am not Igbo… Im just allergic to stupidity

The FULLANI and their Hausa Islamist accomplists remain the greatest threat for Nigeria. Coz they seek to colonize via Sharia Law!

Julius abeg stop . Igbos are corrupt yet the Abacha loot is yet to be completely returned despite hundreds of millions of dollars returned already. They are corrupt yet most of those picked up by efcc already are not Igbo. Corruption is a person thing, don’t be naive or foolish.

IGBOS are the worst mate. Believe me! The worst I tell you not at everything but at corruption. U know how bad they are, I’ll tell you how bad they are….

      – they are so insensitive about the pain they inflict on others via their network of organized crimes that they are probably the single force contributing to Nigerisn image being tarnished around the world.

-the igbo is impervious to pain, his soul fears not death! In his mind death seems absolutely certain, near and promiced but Life ain’t! He is Sure of That! And here is where we differ….

      – his true history is unknown (but prob has played the greatest role in shapint who he is today as a person) No one truly understands what drives the Igbo but we are just left to contend & justify their actions. Would it be such a crime for me to refer to an Igbo as a natural born thief! he is a jihadist in his own cause! A cause no one in Nigeria even begin to understands!

We’re all tired of Nigeria. Let’s all go our separate ways. The North are parasite. Milking us dry in every sector

  13. prince

    March 7, 2016 at 4:51 pm

If you look at it from one angle, you’ll just prefer us going our separate ways as @Tolu already said. The north brings nothing to the table, yet they want to dictate and take the largest share, they know that they’ll be the one to loose that’s why they keep clamoring for ONE NIGERIA.
I’m from the West – Lagos State but believe me, I would really want all of us to go our separate ways.
Obafemi Awolowo foresee these problems, but that demonized Ladoja sold his idea out, the northerners are just lazy and just few of them (2%) think straight. they should be left alone and let them be govern by their Sharia Law. Buhari just included Nigeria among Islamic states, these people would soon enslave us before our very eyes.

If its not obvious that this is an old map, then theres a screw loose up there, mkay. This is the old Biafra map. Dear South Southerners, please stop whining. I know you got more going for you than your oil, black gold is losing its value in 3-2-1, what else are you bringing to the table? Step up and make your demands.

    • Mohammad

      March 8, 2016 at 3:09 am

That a lie. Delta state was part of the old Bendel State and would have had nothing at all to do with the old Eastern region that you claim belongs to Biafra. In fact it was part of the Western region before the MidWestern state was created! Abeg stop yarning dust, IPOB just want to greedily possess all the oil-producing areas for themselves.

100 years is up and Igbos want out of this Nigeria arrangement. It would be one thing if Nigeria was a working country, but IT IS NOT. So, my suggestion is that all groups go their separate way with their respective resources in tow. Of course, those that have nothing going for them like the North don’t like that idea. That is why they are always clamoring for “one Nigeria”.

The rest of you realise that you will be importing most of your food from the so called parasitic north that doesn’t bring anything to the table, right? The north supplies over 60% of the whole country’s food. They’ve got untapped hard minerals such as gold, rough diamonds, Columb ite , tin etc. Crude oil isn’t black gold anymore, agriculture is the number one sustenance for all living things. In this new world darlings ,you need the north, not the other way around

I sometimes wonder when people open their mouths and say they north brings nothing to the table. Some times back trailer drivers who bring food to Ketu went on strike, I live in Lagos so believe me when I say onions, tomatoes, tatatase in short all the salad ingredients vanished from the market., the north brings nothing indeed.

All Nigerian Soldier have the duty to shoot at any group of people flying the Biafran flag until the Biafran flag is unhoisted and all the people are dead.
The Nigerian Army should remember that the defeat of Biafra was paid for by their blood. Any persons who want to make waste of their blood should be required to pay the price.
