Aww…thank God for you Ibinabo. I can’t believe the wave of relief I feel reading this. Hopefully something good will come out of your appeal. Learn from this and be a better person. All the best.

      To all of you celebrating:

I HOPE YOU CAN SAY THE SAME IF A drunk driver KILLS YOUR DOCTOR SON***
You inconsiderate Nigerians of very low quality – someone’s SON died from this RECKLESS ordeal…. and you all are praising God that a RECKLESS DRUNK DRIVER HAS GOTTEN SOME RELIEF!!!

Tomorrow, you will say your politicians are corrupt – yet, you actively demonstrate that you are more depraved in thinking!

No, Felinda. Two wrongs can’t make a right. I am certain she didn’t mean to kill anybody. Mistakes are mistakes but hers claimed a life. Wishing her child dead if she doesn’t rot in jail is heartless.

I’ll take it as a stupid joke. Let it be your uncle, dad that was killed by a “pretty” drunk driver. I bet you wouldn’t say that.
In all of this, Nigerians should adjust to law and order, and nobody should be excluded from it. It applies to those in power and are famous.
Nothing worst than arrogance, not remorseful of your bad action which is what made Ibinabo’s situation more frustrating. My heart goes out to Dr Giwa’s family, stay strong.

N2m bail till the Supreme Court decides if you have to go away for 5 years. The Supreme Court Decision may or may not take another 5 years. If the decision takes another 5 years, in 2021, Ibinabo could be sentenced again to 5 years in prison and people will come back and scream witch hunters are witch hunting her, Giwa family 15 years don pass please forgive, Segun Arinze go prostrate again begin beg. In another twist, the Supreme Court could set her free. In which case she would have learned her lesson and learned not to take the courts for granted. Anyway this goes, this is a lesson!

Been familiar with drama series like good wife, suits, how to get away with murder:I have lost interest in all judiciary system, am very sure there is more to the 2mil bail. Won’t be suprised if she doesn’t serve d jail term. The system to is corrupt.

Follow this story very well and take off sentiments. If you commit a crime you are penalised, if u get penalised and all your actions shows remorse then you can be pardoned or sometimes gain freedom on conditions of parole but on this case it’s the other way round. Nigerians use your brain.

Afi March na. Did you march when they killed Tyler fray AKA Toba Falode? That one was thrown off a building in Dubai. He was murdered not by mistake but with pure evil intent. Since then, no justice, no March. I think people just don’t like this Ibinabo. I expect these same reactions if Toke Makinwa was in her shoes. May God have mercy on us all, Amen.

Some people think it’s only by reckless driving you can mistakenly kill someone. Be there sounding so arrogant @Felinda. Better beg God for forgiveness for the cause you think you’ve placed on her kids. The day yours will happen to you I pray you remember this post. Wicked soul. Even the family that was wronged did not cause her innocent children. Crying more than the bereaved. Ozu nwuranwu.

The man is dead. Instead of her to lay low with some consideration about his family’s feelings, she’s parading herself about, getting married in full press glare, doing this and that. Living her life to the fullest and she is not even regularly going to console the man’s family behind the scenes or send emissaries since she said she wasn’t allowed to. She didn’t send them money to at least console themselves. It is their prerogative to accept or reject her advances, but everyone would know she tried. But she didn’t even bother. How callous??? I don’t care what people say, she’s a pretty girl, but she is very inconsiderate and she should pay for her crime. However, the man can’t be brought back and I don’t know what her going to jail will accomplish since she is not going back killing people with her car daily, but she should pursued with a civil suit and made to pay what the man would have earned in his lifetime, so his family don’t lack…

By the blood of all those who have died through the wickedness and/or recklessness of another, by the tears of an anguished mother crying over the death of her child, Ibinabo has traded her peace of mind with this (in)justice. So has all involved in this (in)justice. They will never know any peace of mind till they die. Ameen

People are so quick to judge this woman for God’s sake it was a mistake and wasn’t she involved in d accident too? Because she didn’t die also? N people r angry she can put this behind her n move forward. People are miserable in their lives to want this woman to suffer for a terrible MISTAKE! For God’s sake it was a MISTAKE! Well, famous people have haters who don’t wish them well. Really sad.

It is a mistake we all agree, but if the law says you should spend time in Prison then she should just go quietly. By now she should have finished her sentence quietly come out and lead her life. All this postponing won’t help.
