Snow White’s story is one fairytale that everyone is familiar with – but what about her heroic sister Rose Red who went through a dangerous quest with Grumpy and the other dwarfs to find a way to break the curse and bring Snow White back to life?
According to THR, that is the plot of Disney’s next project which is a live-action film about Snow White’s sister.

The script was written by Justin Merz and will be produced by Tripp Vinson. The film will be a “revisionist take that transposes Rose Red into the Snow White tale, making her a key player in the later moments of the classic story”
This is not the first time the world is hearing about Rose Red. Rose Red first appeared in the Brothers Grimm‘s 17th century fairy tale Snow-White and Rose-Red, with her and her sister both depicted as demure in nature.
