World people!!! Focus on your own relationships abeg! They clearly seem to hang in the same circle and don’t see what you see as an issue…. Ooh by the way his wife was in Cannes too as I saw a photo on his insta!

Can folks just let Oc and Ibukun manage their marriage themselves! They certainly do not need these external negative forces

Awwww, beautiful Titi, congratulations. What a serene wedding? Awwww.

Ok, not usually one for rumours but this thing OC is doing, is it wise?

      Such a gorgeous wedding!
      OC’s wife was there –
Lala is a born-again Christian and is even celibate (sorry to put your biz out there) . It is a pure friendship.

Abi o, she is even a pastor at Joshua ville. They just have the same circle of friends so they cannot stop attending functions to please people.

Bellanaija, please stop being naughty. You know Ibukun Okeje was there with OC and she was also present at the Cannes Film Festival. Even though I think Lala should give them their space, I think you are being naughty by not posting his wife’s pictures with him in the same location, thereby making it appear like he and Lala are traveling alone.

    • Tosin

      May 18, 2016 at 5:03 am

Let’s say she doesn’t like photos, ‘twould be unfair if just to please y’all she had to start doing celeb…she’s hot, but she’s not the actor, why must she…I don’t like photos, the world has 1,000x more photos than we need of people’s ugly mugs doing nothing loool remember when most people had like 1-10 pics in a lifetime?
Also unfair when y’all bully people into unfriending just because your eyes are too extra. Nne, what will happen will happen, what will not will not, leave police for NPF.
Just saying, since we’re talking women-this-women-that, if women are to get anything done, they’re going to have to be friends with men and women who are getting things done. Open up.

Wedding brother and sister, God bless. Y’all are cool.

      May 18, 2016 at 10:50 am

Tosin, you miss the point. It’s not like she did not pose for the pictures or she doesn’t like pictures. She posed for all those pictures you now see of her up there. Bellanaija deliberately did not put those pictures up initially to stir up stuff. They lifted the pictures of OC and Lala from the same instagram and wedding hash tag pages and deliberately avoided putting that of OC and his wife up. They only just updated it to reflect she was present after I commented earlier. Same as they did for the post on the Cannes film festival. Sometimes in the summary of a post they would even just write “present at the event were Lala Akindoju and OC Ukeje (carefully ignoring to add and his wife)”

Kindly be more careful using the word “bullying” so casually. It’s a very strong term. People have opinions and it does not necessarily make them a “hater” or “bully”. Thank you.

Are you blind? She’s in the first photo! You’re only exposing your own insecurities. Stop imposing them on others!

Ok Bella, you guys need to stop being so shady. A quick glance through Lala’s page will show that Ibukun (OC’s wife) was also at the wedding. How convenient to show us only the pics without her? Tsk Tsk. I wish I checked her page before commenting earlier smh.

    baba kukuru brand executive..
say em name wetin be brand executive BN like karamo too much.
but the chick bam… she’s just too intelligent watched her interview and her poems, fell in love with her from that moment.
make olu bless the union looking like yemoja in the traditional wedding party.

    May 17, 2016 at 10:38 pm

BN why so messy to get dem clicks. Wondering why you didn’t lift and post the pic of lala and Ibikun (also available where you got some of these your pics). Stop promoting this silliness that people of the opposite sex cannot be true friends.

It is only Nigerians that be quick to drop single friends (male or female) after marriage. Are single pple = contagious disease? They were good enough to be your friend when single, now you are married they should become a plague? you see a snap shot of a tiny portion of peoples lives on ig and think you know their story.

To all you haters of OC and Lala’s friendship, kick rocks. You must be insecure folks with cheating spouses that’s why you can’t fathom an honest friendship between 2 people of the opposite sex. Next time marry well so you will have peace of mind.

  11. Kukks

    May 17, 2016 at 11:23 pm

Can O.C’s wife dare to do the same? I mean have a male best friend? People of God, when a bride and groom get married, they become one. They should be each other’s best friends biko. Lala, your friendship may be geninue but please, give this couple space. You dey even spoil market for yourself. Do you think young eligible bachelors who might be interested in you are not watching? Sha, we women no dey ever hear word.

    • NaijaPikin

      May 18, 2016 at 12:04 am

Did Ibukun tell you she dropped her male friends after marriage?

As OC and his wife became one, and this their unit is still choosing to be friends with lala, what is your own in the matter?

Any man that is insecure about approaching a woman because she has male friends is probably not someone your want to consider for marriage.

I’m sorry to go personal guys but you all need to stop! I know Lala very well- first Oc knows the couple through her. how do you know it is oc leading not lala leading. second-ibukun is not in the industry.attending film festivals is for industry people. ibukun has her own life and career. The people who attend with their spouses are either premiering films and they get extra passes. Do you think people just enter industry events like that? third- you women need to stop bringing this girl down. I know I’m being a voltron but you guys never celebrate her success. Bella would post things about her work but you won’t celebrate her. You see a picture of people that have been friends for a very long time and you start throwing insults. and yes Lala is VERY celibate and is in a relationship. oya Bella people attack m.

      May 18, 2016 at 11:00 am

@ J, I caught the sub. Thanks. I know what film festivals are about darling so no need for the unnecessary schooling. My point is Ibukun attended the very same film festival but that information was conveniently omitted by Bella. The post heading was even something like “OC Ukeje and Lala Akindoju spotted at Cannes Film festival” If Bella wasnt being naughty they could have put “OC Ibuku Ukeje and Lala Akindoju spotted at Cannes film festival”

Guys, let’s not take away the beautiful thing here… It’s Titi’s day. Everyone is right from their standpoint. Let us hope they live to fulfil destiny. When the time is right, we shall all be justified. In the meantime, so my crush just limi go marry brand exec? Cool and serene atmosphere.

Lovely wedding, looks like a wedding straight out of a Mills and Boon novel. This Lala and OC thing, if Ibukun is not complaining, why are people drinking Panadol over another person’s headache. Now some people have felt obliged to put Lala’s private life on a public forum in order to defend her. I don’t think it is anyone’s business who you are seen with in a public place. if they were hiding and sneaking around and someone saw then it should be of concern. Na wah

Uh-oh, so I’m not if the school of thought that boys and girls can’t be friends (even besties) after marriage as long as care is taken to ensure feelings do not evolve. I guess seeing what looked like them traveling together sans OC’s spouse and the constant comments from other posts about them always being together, led me to ask about the wisdom of it. I wasn’t insinuating that anything untoward was/is going on. The posters who said it was none of our businesses is right. And to the posters who’ve felt obliged to defend Lala’s integrity, and to Lala (if you read this), Tincan is sorry ?

my kind of wedding, no spending hundreds of thousands on makeup and she still looks good, no millions for decoration bla bla. i will keep saying, if i cant call on you when my marriage is in its downtime then you shouldnt be at my wedding. They surely had fun

You people are funny. So Lala should stop attending the same events as OC because he has a wife and it doesnt look proper for her to be in the same event as OC. No. You people are not funny. You are paranoid and ridiculous.

And bellanaija commentators decided to make it about Lala. Please commentators, focus on the business at hand. This is not a Ibikun: Lala is crowding my marriage post.
