NIS Boss, Abeshi retires, Babandede takes over

The Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS)), Martins Abeshi, has on Thursday retired from service.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Abeshi on Thursday handed over to the new acting Comptroller-General of the NIS, Muhammed Babandede.

Babandede was until now in charge of Operations & Passport Directorate in the NIS.

Ekpedeme King, the NIS spokesperson, confirmed the development to NAN on Thursday.
