Oscar Pistorius has been sentenced in a fresh hearing to 6 years in prison for “culpable homicide” of his live-in girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.

He may be eligible for parole and may not have to serve the full term in prison.

Here’s a live feed from investigative journalist Debora Patta live at the courthouse, who says Reeva’s family thinks the sentence is light, although they have forgiven Oscar.

I totally agree. 6 years is a slap on the face of the bereaved family. A supposed intruder comes into your house, a normal human being will first seek the safety of his loved ones. Your girlfriend slept beside you, you did not look for her instead, you started shooting. Very insulting excuse.

Thanks to BN and other blogs who did their “Ibinabo publicity” very well. Justice can only be delayed never denied and if not in this world, in the world to come.

This not the justice we have been waiting for, this is a big insult, only 6 years for killing someone’s daughter, someone’s joy karma doesn’t forget anybody

Just six years!!! My husband’s prediction of him walking home free just came to pass because six years for murder is a slight tap, not even a slap, on the wrist.!!!!! Hubby’s argument was that the prosecutor wasn’t doing a good job. OP is both mentally & physically challenged!
