A dinner was held yesterday to celebrate the graduation of three of president Muhammadu Buhari‘s children.

Zahra and Yusuf Buhari graduated from the University of Surrey, UK on Tuesday, while Halima was called to the Nigerian Bar on Thursday.

Their mother, Aisha, siblings, together with friends and well wishers gathered to celebrate them on completion of their academic programs.

Congrats to the first family!!! Hopefully this indirectly contribute to awareness of the benefits of education in the northern region with their age old aversion to formal education. Shey they can see their “role model’s” children.

Why don’t we ever see mrs. Buhari with her step-children? I observe she is always with her own kids. I hope she is nice in the home front, as she portray herself to be in public.

All these show over their graduation, and even a party to go with it. Yet, no word on the most important thing – their grade. WHAT DID THEY GRADUATE WITH?

This family was sold to dummies as being very austere. Yet, this woman has organized more parties/dinners/Kwam 1 hosting than any other First Lady (or whatever tag so ascribed) within a single year. Nigerians (especially Yorubas) have a wrong view of themselves. I have never seen a people so gullible, so loud but near empty. Indeed, classroom education does not equate wisdom and intelligence especially when it is all about cramming and reproducing during exams.

Dem even give out goodie bags. Buhari is oooolllllllld. Not the buhari of yore. He cannot control this one. This woman is his punishment in his old age for the way he treated his 1st wife.

So, our president is celebrating his children’s graduation under the banner of “a centenary of the amalgamation of north and south of Nigeria”.
It’s all well and good to celebrate one’s childrens’ graduations, but to do that under the guise of celebrating Nigeria’s unity is just a dubious way of misappropriating public funds for his private pocket.
It’s also messed up that he acclaims colonial agitators with our leaders since independence on the banners. Yes, they were governor-generals, but we need to tell our story from our lenses and not from some ex-colonist’s perspective. (Or, did they not find pictures of Herbert Macaulay, Ajayi Crowther, etc).

This is all shades of wrong and it’s disappointing.

I don’t understand please someone should educate me oh . She removed her head scarf to get sworn in as a lawyer is this allowed under Islam . When is the head scarf required to be removed (with family members of the same sex) or is it forbidden to remove it .
I read an article where a Muslim lady was asked to take off her head scarf doing a citizenship swearing of oat and she protested

She is not mandated to wear a hijab unless she identifies herself as a hijabi (someone who wears the hijab). In fact, Islam doesn’t mandate women to wear the hijab but advises people to dress modestly.

Normal people celebrate graduation now. Some do it on that day or on a later date. So y should the Buharis be exempted from celebrating a triple? I’m particularly aware that being called to Bar is a big deal especially when you pass all papers in 1 sitting. My mother had a party as well. Pls remember that Buhari is first a man, husband, father then President ( in that order). And if it was you in his shoes, you’d do the same.

After the graduation and graduation party what next? Summer? Hahahhahahhahahhahaha
Who is funding all these? There will not be first lady says Buhari!
I want to mention that madam Mrs Buhari has been silent over the murder of her fellow women who simply belong to another faith and here she is smiling with her children, whilst the female preacher’s children walk without comfort! Madam God is watching you and your selfish husband!
I honestly did not expect all these shows and parties when the nation is in pain! Herdsmen, murderers, machete warriors……hunger…..

She is ever ready to travel to IDP camps to distribute aid and both her and Zarah went all out to support the mutilated little boy Musa (commendable). However, two women were killed and regardless of whether or not it’s been proven that their deaths were religiously motivated, I expected her to at least visit the families. After all, Dolapo Osibajo accompanied her to see Musa. I never expected much from her. I saw her for the “undomitable” airhead politician’s wife she is; calling someone an unchained mad dog.
