#TIFF16: David Oyelowo will be a Special Guest at the Premiere of Kemi Adetiba’s “The Wedding Party” Tonight

All roads lead to the 2016 Toronto International Film Festival as Nollywood movie “The Wedding Party” will be premiering tonight.

Confirmed as one of the special guests to grace the red carpet tonight is British-American actor of Yoruba ethnicity, David Oyelowo. He will be joined by President and General Manager of the Toronto Raptors, Masai Ujiri; Artistic Director of the Toronto International Film Festival, Cameron Bailey; Executive Producer and Forbes Most Influential African, Mo Abudu; Leading Nollywood Director, Kemi Adetiba, and more special guests.

Taking place at the historic Elgin Theatre on Thursday, September 8, the rom-com stars some of Africa’s biggest names including Richard Mofe-Damijo, Sola Sobowale, Alibaba, Iretiola Doyle, Banky W, and Adesua Otomi.

All of the stars are scheduled to attend the premiere.

‘The Wedding Party’ will screen at the 41st Toronto International Film Festival on Thursday, September 8 at 9:00 p.m (festival premiere), Friday, September 9 at 6:30 p.m. and Sunday, September 18 at 9:45 a.m.

A press/industry screening will also take place on Friday, September 9 at 11:15 a.m. for all festival accredited media.
