The only celebrities in this pics are just few people she constantly write good stories about. not the majority she usually writes negative stories about. I don’t see this LIS thing going beyond the shabby launch. #NoBeefPlease………You can’t step on the toes of major industry players and expect them to support you. The major media supporter she has so far is Bellanaija.

We all know the reason #winks

See Official Launch of something that is touted as groundbreaking, e just be like Student union meeting; LMAO! And it would appear that majority of the celebrity folk really ain’t willing to f**k with this chick because you’ll never see any of the usual suspects around her or her numerous unveilings…

Minions, una master don come oh, make una come do roll call….Hahahaha!

Oh yeah, ground breaking name you say? I guess Oprah Winfrey, Ryan Seacrest and the rest are all narcissistic cos their brand bear their full names. You lot are hilarious

ode. her name is her brand. if you like continue to see it as narcissism. lol. this is just dumb.
Linda is genius. i suspect she will breed a small population of paparazzi that the Nigerian entertainment industry can gain from.. not only will she be richer and successful at this but Nigerian Entertainers will be too. in this day and age where people have an insatiable appetite for celebrities business, i think she is on to something.

    • Hey

      November 3, 2016 at 2:03 am

All Nigerians are narcissitic. Is this not the land of self promotion? Everyday ‘do you know who I am?’ ‘Do you know who my father is’? I’m this in church, I’m that in a bank. My house on Bourdillon, my wife is the finest, my husband this. On Instagram… see me, see me, see me. You think its an accident that Instagram is so popular in Nigeria? By all means necessary thou must flaunt one’s wealth and feel important. Narcissism repackaged as ‘my brand’. Its the whole country jor.

      Dear Mr/Mrs Curious,

Calling you a hater will be a waste of word and unnecessary energy. I’ll just tell you to grow up and go get a name for yourself or rather get busy and do something that your village people will recognize, lets not even say Nigeria.
The mgbeke word you guys keep using is really tired and old, cos with all the mgbeke talk she’s still breaking new grounds and growing her brand.
Ok who exactly are the big Naija celebrity you are referring to and how exactly is their absence relevant to the scheme of things in Linda’s life. Same folks you guys on here refer to as yeyebrity, are they the ones that matter? Celebrities that are also trying so hard to make their daily bread and pursuing their own hustle.
Seat behind your computer ok and keep counting tush and mgbeke people, and i bet it must hurt you so bad that people actually identify with Linda on this blog and speak for her, you really wish everyone sees her with your mind’s eye, that is why you chose the word “minions” to refer to people that are not so myopic like you.

Your likes will always exist, otherwise “in who’s presence will God prepare a table for Linda to feast?”

Just negodu what? Can’t understand why some folks just smell of hate. Yes it was Groundbreaking as that is how she wanted it. Linda has always stood with the youth with her different projects, created employment for the youth as well with this initiative and I do wish to ask you @ curious: How many jobs you have provided nor created? If in this life u hav a project. ( as I pray for you to excel) take it to the Moon as that is where Groundbreaking things happens.

Please Note that ur Brand is what you call it and that is how General public perceives it. Linda had a groundbreaking launch making Groundbreaking cash.

How did Steve Jobs launch all those inventions that changed our lives? How do Tim Cook, Elon Musk and Mark launch new products? I guess the creme of Hollywood usually attend abi? Linda try sef invite some celebs you com dey complain.
By the way why are you complaining? I thought you were not interested. You should not care how it was launched because you don’t believe in her. Those ‘minions’ love the way it was launched.
I have news for you Curious (and those who loved your comment)- I just signed up on LIS. It’s an interesting place already on day 2. On LIS there’s no Curious or anonymous. Just real names, real people with their pictures- socialising, marketing, chatting, trying to make a living from the opportunity, most importantly, expressing happiness.
Go to LIS, read comments and view pictures, you’ll find out that it’s not an association of all the ‘razz’ people in Nigeria.
Just a suggestion, dear Curious, you should try being on LIS.

We call their own “disruptive innovation” while that of your mentor ( linda ikeja) is called “copy-paste innovation” or the Nigerian insta !

She has said it before, she has a select few friends in the entertainment world. As she stated if she’s best friends with them all, she can’t write about them, which was pretty much her words. One thing I love about Linda Ikeji brand is she doesn’t have to put on the glitz to celebrate and if she does she does it quietly. Apart from her Banana Island home she doesn’t do star studded events, she gets th recognition regardless.

There is this peaceful aura that surrounds Linda I admire, she is not rubbing shoulder with any body nor trying to mingle with d high and mighty socialites/celebrities in Lagos, Nigeria and beyond, she is in her own lane, doing what she does, not trying to be any body, I think there is a lot to admire about her, alot
Her humility, humbleness and her unwavering commitment to her business,
Alot of pple are angry mad and hateful cos the can’t imagine why she will be making so much money, a girl with no family name, didn’t attend d best sch in world, didn’t grow up abroad, no dirt about her past and even now, still forging ahead strong…….
Have we ever wondered why all of a sudden BN is publishing her stories……
She is who she is.. ….. stop hating! and start appreciating and pray for God to give u ur own unique idea, make money, be wealthy, be famous and make impact in ur generation, choose ur own crowd .irrespective of ur background..

Why do Nigerians categorise any form of criticism as hating? I’m not saying people don’t hate Linda Ikeji- many people do and some have valid reason for doing so, however, not everyone who isn’t praising someone and “tapping into their miracle” is automatically a hater.
Some really just think something can be done better or more effectively. And no, “go and bring your own and let us see” is not always a valid response to criticism. How do we get better if no one tells us there is room for improvement? At the the end of the day, Linda still stands a billionaire. A few unflattering comments on the internet won’t change that.

    • @loki

      November 2, 2016 at 10:46 pm

Everybody be like why do Nigerians this and that? The word hater is a lingo used on social media and entertainment industry all over, so why the Nigeria talk.
And yes what is not hate when you call someone mgbeke, you write off the person’s business name yet we celebrate other people that use their name as business Oprah, Dangote comes to mind. Then one goes ahead to say her name sucks so say he shouldn’t consider using it as business name.
If it’s not a constructive criticism, but a pull-her-down syndrome; then it’s pure hate.

    • Loki

      November 3, 2016 at 8:23 am

I get that. but the truth is success attracts all manner. Plus not everyone knows how to communicate what they are trying to say without sounding offensive.
Mgbeke or not, the lady is very successful. Anybody is free to say what they want. Do you see all the negative comments slowing her down? Yes she is annoying, yes she shows off. All the talking has not made her stop. Infact she is getting bigger. People who are saying yes sir and yes ma in the office to people smaller than her can keep making snide comments. She really really does not care

  13. It's really not that hard.

    November 2, 2016 at 10:13 pm

She had a press conference. She also had some friends over. The website of LIS is launched, as in now operational but I do not think that the gathering we are seeing in the photographs is an OFFICIAL launch party. The important and main event I understood from the write up was the press conference and that LIS/the website has launched/gone operational. With something like that, even though she wasn’t doing an official, big launch party (yet), it was cause to celebrate and she had a few friends round to do just that. Even if that IS the official launch party, anyone without bile and hatred in their hearts and eyes can use their simple common sense to see and know that she has enough money and social contacts to do things on a much bigger and grander, and if she didn’t or doesn’t, it’s simply because that’s how she wants it.

Common sense. Common sense. Please, people, just apply it. Always.

Truth is Linda Ikeji has done some brilliant things even if she cant write for shit. However, I’m afraid she may have overstated her own importance by starting LIS so soon. What she ought to have done is position her brand better so that she can get audience from multiple segments of the society. Right now, the only folks I see joining LIS are the many Nigerians down on their luck hoping to score some freebies, or the few who curse people out for a living and a minority who are just curious to see if there’s any hot gist. That’s not the sort of crowds that make you billions. However, seeing as she already has plenty monies, she can persevere until LIS turns a corner. She shouldn’t expect the same success she had with her blog from LIS. It will be premature.

All her commenters r tribalists, biafrans, to name a few who puts down and say nasty shits about yorubas and hausas. Most of this followers dont have problem living among yorubas or marry them but say shit about us. Her followers r mainly fanatic ibos who dont like unity.
