Over 500 People Educated on Cancer! See all the Photos from CancerAware Nigeria’s #WomenEverywhere Breast Cancer Campaign

Globally, October is the month of breast cancer awareness.

As part of her #WomenEverywhere breast cancer campaign, CancerAware Nigeria, a Lagos-based cancer intervention non-profit organized a free breast cancer screening event.

The one-day event held on Thursday, the 27th of October at the Ikeja City Mall, Alausa.Participants had free breast cancer screening and wellness checks.

Participants had free breast cancer screening and wellness checks. They were also taught how to conduct breast self-examinations. Over 80 women were screened.

Also, about 500 people were educated on cancer.

The event was supported by Ikeja City Mall, FROT Foundation and BellaNaija.
