The latest cover of Glam Africa magazine was shot in Ghana earlier this year and features three extraordinary women who are transforming the way Africa is seen globally with their contributions to the movie industry. In this edition, Nigeria’s Rita Dominic, South Africa’s Boity Thulo and Ghana’s Yvonne Okoro talk to Glam Africa about fame, life and the importance of following your dreams.

Also within this edition, there are ideas and inspiration as you plan a spontaneous getaway including the hottest destination to visit in Africa, new hot holiday destinations around the world, a guide to packing for your holiday and much more.

According to Glam Africa’s Editor Fadekemi Sulaiman, “Africans should travel more; see more of the world and be seen too. There are mutual benefits to this. Apart from the economic growth through travel and tourism, there’s also the prospect of shared learning across borders. By doing so, we demystify Africa and by extension, Africans.”

Whoever did the picture editing did a horrible job. The only one that remotely ressembles herself there is Rita. Especially on the cover picture… The others look like the Adams family members tried colour. They look more like themselves in their closeups…

Sure! Stunning with fake hair opposite of their natural texture, heavy makeup and horrible editing.
Africans be real for a second.
The fake life is getting old

Why does Nigeria keep letting average women get famous and define their female aesthetic? It’s bizarre.

This is very disturbing..pounds of makeup….everything african women do they overdo……hiding behind hordes if of makeup is very inauthentic…i don’t know how they do it..when i wear makeup i cant wait to take it off…heavy makeup takes its toll on the skin. African women are just becoming way too vain it’s sad to see

Your statement is too generic and the fact that you don’t like too much make up should not stop someone else from liking much makeup.

    Yvonne Okoro, are we quarrelling?

Maybe because Boity Thulo is young, she looks good
