Kogi State Police command must remove the officer in question from his post immediately. He should be Placed on suspension with pay pending the outcome of their so called investigation. After the conclusion of their investigation. If found guilty. Appropriate disciplinary action must be taken against this officer for this uncivilized and unprovoked attack on this Journalist. The Nigeria Police authorities must warn/ train all their personnels to always respect themselves and their fellow Nigerians always. It’s a privilege to be a Police officer. Not a right. Because the Journalist pointed at him is not a reason for him (The Police Officer) to beat up the Journalist. Respect begets respect. A word is enough for the wise. I’m just saying.
