Ugandan Singer Radio dies after Brain Surgery
Ugandan singer Moses Ssekibogo aka Radio has passed after undergoing emergency brain surgery.
According to a press statement released by his team, Radio had been hospitalised after he was assaulted while exiting a bar following a confrontation.
The assault led to a significant brain injury that required urgent surgery.
The surgery took place on January 23, and the press release had said he was stable and alive.
It was revealed that the Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni 30 million Ugandan Shillings to his team for his upkeep.
Another press statement was however released on Thursday revealing Radio had passed.
He was said to have passed 6 AM on Thursday, with a vigil to hold at 7 PM.
A mass will be said in his honour on Friday by 2 PM at the Rubaga Cathedral Church.
His body will also be on view at the Ugandan National Theatre at 4 PM on Friday.
Stars across Africa have been paying their respects to the late singer, including Nigerian star Wizkid who on his Instagram wrote:

Peter and Paul Okoye also paid their respects on their respective Instagrams, writing:
