The #OGLoveStory! Stephanie and Soji’s Lush Wedding
Stephanie the founder of MintVille, said “I do” to her forever love, Soji co-founder of S and T Media in a beautiful celebration of love in April 2018. We featured their pre-wedding story here. Their wedding style was classic and timeless. Stephanie looked gorgeous in her Gert-Johan Coetzee off-shoulder crystal embellished ball gown and Matopeda dress and headpiece which she wore for church and reception respectively. The dreamy rose and baby’s breath bouquet took our breath away with its romantic feel. Soji looked dapper in his black suit, accompanied by his groomsmen wearing blue. We loved how the bridesmaids, also in blue, wore individual styles to suit their personalities.
The choice of colours for the reception were marble and copper, which looked like something out of a fairytale. So beautiful. We love the bright and happy feel of the traditional wedding which was an intimate celebration and fusion of cultures and family.
From the reciting of their vows to the couple’s first dance, one thing stood out, the simplicity of a beautiful couple deeply in love with each other.
In the groom’s words,”My beautiful wife, your love is unconditional and you are the most unique person I have ever met! I promise to still be that cute couple when we’re 70 – holding hands.”
The bride expressed, “I prayed for a love like yours. But God showed me I deserved so much more. I promise to keep loving you unconditionally, to support and encourage you always, I promise to choose you over and over again!”
Another emotional moment was when both the bride and groom’s late fathers were remembered with a moment of silence followed by prayer.
