Akin Alabi sponsors Career Masterclass in Ibadan & Akure

The largest city in West Africa, Ibadan and the city of Akure had the pleasure of hosting the Career Masterclass with Dr. Dipo Awojide organized by BTDT Hub and sponsored by Oloye Akin Alabi, CEO. Nairabet.

With a great turn-out at the Ibadan School of Government, Ibadan and the Sunview Hotel, Akure for the Masterclass, the sessions kicked off with a personal skills assessment by the delegates with the facilitator Dr. Dipo Awojide explaining the importance of building self-awareness, esteem, and confidence.  

The delegates were also educated on a variety of topics including Career Management, Personal Development, Employability Skills, Personal Branding, Studying Abroad and Job Hunting.

The highlight of the day was when the programme sponsor, Oloye Akin Alabi gave a short talk to the delegates on how to prepare themselves for the labour market and on entrepreneurship. He also encouraged them to invest in themselves and strive to achieve their dreams irrespective of where they come from. Another highlight was the interactive study group on interview preparation where delegates practiced how to answer important interview questions.

Delegates were given certificates upon completion of the training and some were lucky to get a copy of Akin Alabi’s latest book, ‘Small Business Big Money’.
