Joke Silva, Ayo Ayoola contest for President in the Movie “If I Am President” – In Cinemas from November 9th

High Definition Film Studio is set to release its groundbreaking political thriller titled “If I Am President”.

Set in the present-day political terrain and discourses in Nigeria, “If I Am President” tells the story of 37-year old Zinachi Ohams, the presidential candidate of the Nigerian Rebirth Party, a new party made up of young idealists and recently metamorphosed from a Civil Society Organization. The group makes a push into the murky and rough political terrain, armed with little more than their ideals, and wade through challenges of nasty politically engineered attacks, to emerge as the party and candidate to beat in the elections.

The movie which is written, produced and directed by the multi-award winning producer/director of Broken, Bright Wonder Obasi, stars amazing Nollywood actors including Joke Silva, Ayo Ayoola, Rahama Sadau, Ivie Okujaye, Bryan Okwara, Rakiya Atta, Uzee Usman, Kayode  Aiyegbusi, Victor Decka, and introducing Chimdiya Nwigwe.

The “If I Am President” movie, which also has translations in 3 Nigeria languages; Hausa, Yoruba, and Igbo is scheduled for a release in cinemas across Nigeria on Friday, November 9th, 2018, after a World Premiere in Abuja and a premiere in Lagos. The movie is also scheduled for a premiere in the UK, US, Canada, and South Africa for Nigerians in the diaspora.

Date: Saturday, November 3rd, 2018

Venue: Silverbird Galleria, Victoria Island Lagos.
