The Oscars is one of the most anticipated events of the year! From the awards ceremony, the thrilling performances, the exclusive after parties and of course the red carpet fashion! What’s not to love?

We spotted some of our favourite Nigerians at the 2019 Academy Awards Ceremony last night adding colour to the high octane event with stylish marks of Nigeria and even though the three women worked behind the scenes; interviewing the celebrities on the red carpet, they each looked spectacular while doing it.

Biola Alabi and Labo Daniel

Arise TV hosts; Biola Alabi and Labo Daniel were spectacular as they worked the red carpet reporting for the TV channel. Biola Alabi who is an African Media Expert, and the Executive Producer of Lara and the Beat and some other movies that have won over hearts, looked pretty in a hand-beaded floor length dress from Nigerian brand Iconic Invanity.

She shared a photo of herself at the event with the caption:

It’s always an amazing experience to be part of the Oscars coverage team for @arisenewsnetwork#oscars2019 thank you @iconicinvanity for reconstructing this beautiful dress and to @koko_guerrafor the face. #Biolaalabi

While co-anchor, Labo Daniel wore a striking blue beaded dress, blessing the red carpet with yet another made-in-Nigeria outfit. The dress is from womenswear brand The Ladymaker –Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie is also a fan of the brand.

People TV Anchor Lola Ogunnaike, who is an Oscars-regular, showed up in a dazzling Terani Couture dress – elegant and simple best describes her look for the ceremony.

She took some pictures on the red carpet and interviewed the best of the best before retiring to her hotel room for french fries.
