Chief Daddy is Now on Netflix & We Are Here For It ?

Chief Daddy Cast & Crew

The crew and star cast of the Chief Daddy movie, including Mo Abudu, Niyi Akinmolayan, Kate Henshaw, Funke Akindele, Ini Edo, Dakore Egbuson, Ajoke Silva, Taiwo Obeleye and other renowned guests celebrated the launch of the movie at the Netflix launch party, held in Lagos on Tuesday, March 12th, 2019.

“It’s always our pleasure to partner with Netflix” stated Mo Abudu, Executive Producer of Chief Daddy. With a partnership that started in 2015 with Fifty, then in 2017 with The Wedding Party and now in 2019 with Chief Daddy, Mo Abudu says the EbonyLife Films team can’t wait for feedback from the diaspora, and comedy fans in general, to pour in from around the world. “This is our third film to find a home on Netflix – and it gets more thrilling every time,” she says. “We’re delighted to have such a powerful partner take this film globally and we can’t wait to see the reaction to it, from around the world.”

Having dominated the West African box office in 2018, Chief Daddy’s heavyweight brand of comedy is available right now on the world’s most popular streaming service.

When Lagos-based billionaire Chief Daddy keels over suddenly at the dinner table, there’s a scramble amongst family members, household staff and mistresses for a slice of his fortune. But there’s a catch – a codicil to his will declares that they must find a way to work together to arrange his funeral or risk losing everything.

Log on to Netflix from March 15th to catch Chief Daddy, starring some of Nollywood’s biggest names.

Once again an extremely overhyped utterly boring movie. I give it a zero.

Dont let the overhype and red carpet fool you

@Wendy I completely agree with you. Watched it on Friday with a couple of friends and I was surprised at the hype. The movie was all over the place and very boring.

This was such a cute movie. For people say it was over hyped, I think we should be more encouraging of Nollywood and appreciate just how far we have come in terms of production and story lines.

Hmmm Ebony life, Ebony life!!! i do not even know what to say from putting too many big actors in the movie to the story going all over the place!…so much to say!!! very basic movie just like 50, wedding party, and the rest!!! i had a few laughs that was it. nothing memorable about this moive! Pls invest in better writers ma. the only positive i have about this movie is that the editing and cinematography wasn’t bad! but that is it!….story line is whack….nobody gave an awesome performance!!1 this is what happens when you put too many stars in a movie
