The first-ever edition of ESSENCE “Best In Black Fashion” Awards held at Affirmation Arts on September 04, 2019 in New York City.
The aim of the event is “to create a rightful space where Black stylists, models, photographers, designers and more can be recognized for their trendsetting work.”
This year’s event was attended by Jidenna, Bozoma Saint John, Justine Skye, Anthony Hamilton, Laolu Senbanjo, and more as black trendsetters were honored and celebrated.
