Sahara Reporters: DSS attempts to Rearrest Sowore in Court, Chases Judge Away

Sahara Reporters has reported that there is currently a standoff at the Federal High Court after operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) attempted to rearrest Yele Sowore.

Sowore, who had been arrested by the DSS, was finally released on Thursday, long after the court had approved his bail.

It has been reported that during the trial of Sowore and Olawale Bakare, operatives of the DSS stormed the court and chased away the presiding judge Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu.

They say Sowore and his lawyers are currently inside the court premises, with the operatives refusing them exit.

Federal Republic of Nigeria, or better known by its other name; Banana Republic of Nigeria. SMH.

And to think that we have the effrontery to open our stinky mouths and call ourselves Giant of Africa. Epic delusions of grandeur.

    Without law men are beasts.

The President is not above the law.

Sadly, this situation shows we are in a dictatorship era. Like Julius ceasar quoted, If you must break the law, do it to seize power: in all other cases observe it
