The New Planking? D’banj Sparks a Trend Online – “Oliver” Fan Videos You Must Watch!

Ok so it started with D’banj releasing the third single off his forthcoming album, Oliver. And with it, a competition for a cash prize of $2500 to the most entertaining fan video for the song. So the craze began. Videos started popping up on YouTube; from the downright funny, to the creative, to the “Dear Lord-did-those-guys-really-dance-in-front-of-a-camera-in-their-briefs?” Like Planking, loads of people are doing it.

Before now, I had no idea there was any group called, My Backyard Crew. But I’ll say this: These guys have TIME!
This one is titled The Alhajis. 
It’s Bosun and Folabi in L.A. on this one. I like to call them Dancers on Aisle 4. I sincerely hope they don’t/didn’t get fired for their stunt sha.

Bella, I think You should post the full prizes there are to be won. There are many more prizes, so yes, people feel like they have a greater chance to win, not just 1 in a million.
Anyway, I love Mohits and Eldee’s videos! But since those don’t count, I must give the backyard crew A for effort and originality mehn. WOW.. they went to all those places?!?
I wish the ladies dancing had a better video quality, but sha, they were having fun. Lady in grey tights should do her own video..!!! But sha, they all did great.
I have seen many of the videos on youtube, and My goodness, the things people do. lol.. Dbanj sure knows how to get people showing sides they probably would never show. this Oliver Twist thing has gone Viral!! Expecting many more videos.

Backyard Crew definitely had time! lol, it’s a good thing Trybe Records can’t actually participate in the contest because their video was too good. Some of these entries I’ve seen are absolutely ridiculous.
There are quite a few booty shaking ones and also I saw this one with guys wearing boxers waving their D’s around -___-.
The people really love Don Jazzy, he does a good job of keeping people engaged plus he’s funny, friendly, and personable.

Ppl, Oliver Twist famously begged for more? So if D’Banj is saying he’s Oliver Twist, its from the famous line “Please sir, may I have some more.” Besides, who said musical lyrics HAVE to be literal?
