It’s Chioma Chukwuka-Akpotha‘s time to bounce back into the spotlight with a headlining role in “On Bended Knees“, a new movie which she also executed produced.

Nollywood actress Chioma Chukwuka-Akpotha joined the league of producers and produced a movie titled ‘On Bended Knee’.

The movie which has Christian theme is about a man, Pastor Reuben (Seun Akindele) who is fiercely passionate about the things of God and & committed to the church. But this doesn’t go down well with his wife Kemi (Chioma Chukwuka-Akpotha) who has to remind him that he’s also a husband as well as a pastor. Temptation comes in form of a dark, handsome stranger (Chet Anekwe), who becomes attracted to her. Secrets are opened, hidden pasts are unearthed and Reuben finds himself torn between his love for his wife & his devotion to the church. Who wins this epic battle?

The project was executive produced by Chioma Chukwuka-Akpotha and produced in conjunction with Emem Isong. Directing was by Lancelot Oduwa Imasuen with story and screenplay by Uduak Oguamanam. The movie stars Chioma Chukwuka-Akpotha, Seun Akindele, Chet Anekwe, Francis Onwochie, Memry Savanhu, Sylvia Oluchi and Chukwudi Orji.
The film will premiere on the 5th of May 2013 at Silverbird Cinemas at the Ikeja Mall. It promises to be a wholesome, grand affair.
