Double Innovation! ASUS Launches Transformer Book T300 Chi & EeeBook X205 into the Nigerian Market

In order to deepen its phenomenal growth and penetration into the African market, Asus has launched two of its classy new gadgets into the Nigerian market. The launch of the Asus Transformer Book T300 Chi and the Asus Eeebook X205 is in partnership with Microsoft and Intel and it is set to give consumers more options when it comes to rugged and sleek laptops that are not just work horses but a fashion piece.

The Transformer Book T300 Chi is part of Asus’ Transformer book series of detachable hybrid computers. Like previous models in its range, the Transformer Book T300 Chi comes with a detachable Bluetooth keyboard that can be used independently from the tablet, further blurring the lines between laptop and tablet. It is easy to carry around because of its lightweight design of 1.65mm, slimmest windows 8 tablet, thickness 7.6m with up to 8hrs battery life.

Unlike the Transformer Book T300 Chi, the Eeebook X205 has a smaller 11.6 inch screen and comes in at 17.5mm thick. Customers get to choose from four colourful variants.

Simplice Zaongo, the Country Product Manager for Asus while speaking at the launch at the Sheraton Hotels in Ikeja, Lagos said the gadgets are already a run-away success in Europe, Asia and America. Admitting they have introduced the products into the Nigerian market because of the discerning taste of the Nigerian consumers and acceptance of their brand.
