Sneak Peek: Lanre DaSilva-Ajayi, House of J’Ola, Hallero and Zizi at Couture Fashion Week



This weekend was all about fashion for our BN team, our ladies – Louisa and Cornelia were backstage and front row at the ARISE Promise show on Friday then on Sunday, they did it again at the Couture Fashion Week which took place at the Waldorf Astoria in New York.
Nigerian designers – Lanre DaSilva-Ajayi of LDA, Joan Okorodudu of House of J’Ola, Alero Fafowora of Hallero and Zizi Cardow of Zizi Couture along with makeup dynamo Bayo Haastrup all displayed collections on the day. The BN report from Louisa and Cornelia will be up soon but we thought to offer you a sneak peak of what’s coming up.

    LDA looks so beautiful in her collection. Her collection looks so good and interesting. she is a very talented and inspiring young lady. I am always looking forward to see what ideas she comes up with. you go girl!

    Hmm.. Not bad at all…but from where I sit all of LDA’s collection look the same. And did Zizi actually model her clothes? As for Joan, what did she do??

    Hallero’s collection looks the most interesting to me.

    joan okorodudu’s company owns the right to new york couture fashion week in west africa, she also took her modes isis models to the show including Bayo haastrup and nyanya all are her patners in this venture . Zizi, and joan.s pictures from the show obviously are not in these pictures the only pics you see here for both of them are the closing shot. Thank you.
