Sometimes it seems as though we have a little bit of ‘Oliver Twist’ in us. Always wanting MORE. Today, BN Pick Your Fave is giving you MORE! With a special double edition.
UK fashion brand Karen Millen is well-known for their cocktail dresses and our Nigerian stylistas are definitely relishing their dresses and other standout pieces.
BellaNaija.com regularly spots numerous ladies rocking the brand at weddings and cocktail events.
We have picked some of our best for this edition of BN Pick Your Fave
We spotted Daisy Iremiren at the MADE Magazine Casino event some months ago, she was wearing this lovely coral satin cocktail dress by Karen Millen. The dress stands out due to the pleated bust and jewel detail. Daisy maintained the same colour palette all through her look. From her satin bow clutch to her red shoes. She styled her hair into a simple ponytail and kept her jewellery minimal but elegant with diamond studs and a watch.
LIAM Fashion Agency CEO, Lilian Unachukwu could be a Karen Millen brand ambassador, she frequently wears their pieces on the red carpet. Lillian paired the dress with pewter shoes and a pewter clutch, these perfectly complement the jewel detail of the dress. Her short highlighted hair and her bold accessories including a cocktail ring, bracelet and a watch add a touch of drama to her look.
Here is Lilian once again in Karen Millen. She rocked this fitted one shoulder cocktail dress to the House of Nwocha fashion show this past weekend. The single lacy embellished sleeve of the dress is what takes it from a regular LBD to something more special. She accessorized with a silver necklace and a black clutch. Her black shoes with a bow completed her look.
Another Karen Millen fan is MNet Africa MD, Biola Alabi. We have spotted Biola in Karen Millen dresses at numerous events and she always rocks it so well! At the MNet Studio 53 Extra Launch earlier in the year, Biola wore this mono shoulder corsetted top Karen Millen dress along with black shoes with a flower detail. Biola accessorized with a silver necklace, bracelet and ring. Her hair was in firm waves to give the overall look a feminine edge.
