BN Exclusive: Miss Nigeria 2010 Oluwadamilola Eyituoyo Agbajor visits her dream holiday destination – Hawaii

On the night she was crowned 2010 Miss Nigeria Oluwadamilola Agbajor stated her life long dream destination was to visit the Island of Hawaii. Since she was crowned as the Queen Ambassador in 2010, Oluwadamilola has been working extensively to promote malaria prevention and treatment initiatives.

On April 29th 2011, Oluwadamilola Agbajor took a well deserved break as she embarked on her vacation as Miss Nigeria to the Island of Hawaii, USA. Oluwadamilola was accompanied by 1st Runner Up – Miss Lagos Erica Okundaye for the 1 week vacation sponsored by Reality Vacation Innovations.

After traveling for two days, the Queen Ambassador was welcomed by Staff of the Bay at Waikoloa Beach Resort, who were anxiously awaiting the arrival of their first African Queen – Miss Nigeria 2010 Oluwadamilola Agbajor.
Hawaii’s natural beauty, warm tropical climate, inviting waters and waves, and active volcanoes made it the perfect destination for Oluwadamilola upon the completion of her 1st semester exams as a second year Mass Communications student at the University of Lagos.

While on vacation Miss Nigeria and 1st Runner Up-Miss Lagos participated in a variety of activities. They took a grand tour of the Island of Hawaii and its neighboring islands. As well as a guided visit to Hawaii’s Volcanoes National Park which highlights two of the world’s most active volcanoes, and offers insights on the birth of the Hawaiian Islands and views of dramatic volcanic landscapes.

Miss Nigeria was also given the opportunity to learn more about the Islands of Hawaii by visiting several museums on Hawaiian history and culture as well as the famous natural white and black sand beaches of Hawaii derived from the erosion of volcanic rocks, and white sand made by marine organisms, or a mixture of both.

I think she’s very pretty especially off the red carpet and considering the kind of Atutupuyoyos that have been claiming to be Miss Nigeria in the recent past, I think this lady represents a step in the right direction. Sha has excellent bone structure and a nice smile.

    • Tiki

      May 19, 2011 at 11:29 pm

All I can see in her face is youthful ‘prettiness’ not beauty. five years down the line the poor girl will be taking desperate measures to live up to the ‘Miss Nigeria’ title. Honestly, 17 -18yrs old should be exclude from ‘serious’ pageantry!!!

She is not the miss Nigeria of Silverbird that will go for the miss world contest; she’s the miss Nigeria that was crowned in celebration of our 50th independence.
So, there are TWO miss Nigerians.

    May 20, 2011 at 9:56 am

for some of you guys that don’t know, there is a difference between Miss Nigeria and MBGN (Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria). its basically the same difference between Miss America and Miss USA.

  39. marvel

    May 20, 2011 at 1:05 pm

She has a girl next door look and that is as good as it gets. Nothing to do with hating. She just is not Miss Nigeria material.

  40. b

    May 20, 2011 at 1:34 pm

i agree with you marvel, she is not really Miss Nigeria material. But we can complain, i guess she was the best contestant. We should try to encourage more pple to go for these contests so they can really pick the best out of the really good ones. Its just like politics in Nigeria, if the same ” tif, ole, carry am go politicians” keep coming out, we have no choice but to pick the nicest tif, ole, whoever that is

  45. tanya

    May 22, 2011 at 7:05 am

Haters galore…..vanity at its best from all of you wanting to crucify the girl for flying economy.Just goes to show how classy you are(not). @anne….ur friends arent Miss Nigeria,so we dont have to know about their trips. Miss Nigeria is a public figure and represents our country wherever she i think we should know.
    Thanks Bella,great post.

  50. dance234

    May 26, 2011 at 12:30 pm

the Miss Nigeria pageant in my opinion isnt all about facial beauty, its more focused on poise, elegance, brilliance and beauty and the besides the lady is pretty…how many people look like that without makeup**,she doesnt have to wear tons of makeup all the time and fake lashes just because she is Miss Nigeria.

  51. kris k

    May 26, 2011 at 12:34 pm

Miss Nigeria is an ambassador,so i think we need to know about some of her experiences…this would encourage other young ladies out there to contest in such competitions, that could turn their dreams into reality.

  52. sam

    May 26, 2011 at 12:47 pm

more power to the Miss Nigeria organisation!!!

    pls y’all should stop hating….
how else is a queen supposed to look like? she obviously a very simple lady, and shes rocking the minimalist trend*thumbs up*
Aunty Nike and the whole of Nigeria did a great job in crowning her.

  54. pingo

    May 26, 2011 at 12:58 pm

@mrs dbanj…..the Miss Nigeria competition isn’t just about beauty and how come we didn’t see you on stage during the pageant.
she is pretty by the way and very intelligent.

  55. Will

    May 26, 2011 at 1:01 pm

The girl fit fine for heart but for face…… (check the pictures yourself) haba! is this what miss nigeria has turned into. My personal opinion is that nike is just using her own personal perspective of what a woman should be to judge… and this necessarily may not be the perspective of nigerians. please, in the next edition, don’t be so over bearing and sack contestants anyhow like idols! remember say na money them pay enter!

  56. kamsi

    May 26, 2011 at 1:03 pm

who cares if other people take finer pictures at hawaii??? this is our Miss Nigeria and her trip matters in ways you probably don’t understand.
just assuming you don’t already know, she’s our Queen Ambassador.

  57. glo

    May 26, 2011 at 1:08 pm

@ miss diva….maybe you need to stop by at the Miss Nigeria office and ask the organisation for more pictures, they will probably give you more just so you can be sure she spent more than one day… *rolling eyes*

    May 26, 2011 at 1:14 pm

what is wrong with promoting malaria cure?? do you know the number of children and adults that are killed by malaria everyday.
thats a very worthy cause to promote,WELL DONE MISS NIGERIA!!! GOD BLESS YOU!

  59. chu7

    May 26, 2011 at 1:24 pm

there is only one MISS NIGERIA, and thats her.
please don’t get confused, MISS NIGERIA and MOST BEAUTIFUL GIRL IN NIGERIA are 2 different brands.
MISS OLUWADAMILOLA is the reigning Queen Ambassador.
for those of you who think she isn’t striking and pretty enough, we(myself and other nigerians that would be watching) hope to see you on the stage of this years pageant.lets see what you got.

  60. ololade

    May 26, 2011 at 1:30 pm

read all of your comments and I’M thinking most of these peeps would probably not be half as beautiful as this lady is…and how many of them have left the shores of Nigeria.
and then again, she got to her destination safe and sound…who cares what part of the plane she sat in.

  61. uduak

    May 26, 2011 at 1:35 pm

she won the crown…if you think she doesn’t deserve to win, don’t miss out on buying the forms this year!

  67. charlie

    May 26, 2011 at 3:21 pm

when you peeps say that Aunty Nike chose the Queen,I wonder what you mean…
Did she take the girl home and crown her???
didn’t we all watch the reality show and the grand finale???
please don’t stay at home and make assumptions off the top of ur head…we were all involved in the crowning the queen.
and if you didn’t participate last year,do so this year and pick your queen…so you can stop criticizing unnecessarily.
    Great Job Bella Naija!!!

    June 9, 2011 at 11:20 pm

if there is anything i have learnt, its that anything you fight and oppose always wakes up to unprecedented heights-it wil be worse if yur beef was biased….
honestly, there is no choice of winners of these competitions that ever sits well with every one…
everyone always has their choices of the standard of beauty queens and wat they should look like or in the final analysis, who among the finalists should have been chosen.
having said that, i dont see anytin wrong wit dis lady, she is beautiful..of cos like aa lot of oda she needs is d right pple to bring her up to speed weneva it is necesary..but she is in hawaii fo chrissakes n havin a nice time(im sure lots of us envy her position) dat she shud had her hair together, stylists, bla bla.. she just trying to be real wit this..if she’s too put together, err’one wil say she shud take it she takes it easy, na trouble!!!

d chic is tite! she’s hot witout make up nd she’s sexy in her kind of way…

Wow!!! U know Its easy to just sit where u r and hate all u want, afterall,we’ve all got a right to our opinions… I think she’s really beautiful, decent and most importantly an achiever.. I just hope she’s a good visionary and mature enough to know she is in a very good position to add a little good to the world(Nigeria)… Go on girl!!!
