Nollywood Pioneers Keppy Ekpenyong Bassey & Bimbo Akintola star in Paul Apel’s “90Ninth Day” – Movie Premieres in Abuja This Week



It feels great to see Nollywood pioneers Keppy Ekpenyong Bassey and Bimbo Akintola back on the big screen!

90Ninth Day” is a new thriller by Producer/Director Paul “PAPEL” Apel. Here is the official synopsis for the film.

Engineer Jack was awarded a power plant contract by the Government that would be the beginning of a nightmare for him and his family. Susan who ought to have had the contract embarks on a blind revenge but one of Jack’s friends Col. Ben who is obsessed with being an Army General holds forth for self benefits, but for honor Jack’s family hangs in the balance. It all played out on the 90Ninth Day as written and directed by Paul Apel.

The movie will premiere on Thursday, 11th of August 2011 at the Silverbird Entertainment Center in Abuja.

    Hmm i dont know if this is good or bad but i cant seem to understand what this film is about. Seems like it would be a different kind of film and yet it seems like crap but when u have to powerful acts hmmmm. Lets see sha

    Seeing Keppy & Bimbo made me think this movie would be different from the regular nollywoog/ghollywood fare. The official synopsis is however a big let down. This is one movie I won’t go to the cinema for. See you at A***A/16 in 1 D*D

    hmmm…never did like keppy but glad he’s trying again, love Bimbo…back in d days, dunno know if she’s still as good….but dis Apel fellow, must all ur family be in d movie…won’t be bothered with dis one!

    Okay, I love both Bimbo and Ekpeyoung Bassey and the trailer was alright……but this one Papel guy wrote, directed, produced, did the editing and sound design, acted………as in really!!! LOL.
