Not a hater oh but yvonne is so freaking childish on her instagram w her designer stuff. Like she purposely tries so hard to show it off. She is really an attention seeker. Her pictures are always so calculated making sure to show her brand name stuff. What she fails to realize is that she is a celeb and this lifestyle is expected of her. She needs to learn from genny and rita. U will never see Genny do such a thing. Its razz. Anyways Yvonne is kuku razz. Her english and diction is so poor

      November 14, 2013 at 10:24 pm

I noticed that on instagram so I had to unfollow. If Dangote’s family can keep calm and humble I don’t know what stops her. I love her as a person, but the show show is just too much.

Empty barrels make the most noise! When you have always had money you don’t have to make announcements every time you buy something marginally expensive. The problem with this girl is that she lacks self esteem…how can Yvonne Nelson value herself when she spends half her time in nigeria and Ghana sleeping with politicians for money so she can go and buy a LV bag…she has slept with half of the nigerian music industry and have what to show for it? Smh
*side bar* who is this woman kidding saying she’s 28? She’s at least 34yrs I know people she dated wen she first started ‘acting’ who say she’s well into her 30’s

      November 15, 2013 at 9:20 am

I agree with Nolla and Paul.

I once attended an event and sat at the same table as one of Dangote’s daughters. No one knew who she was until the organizer acknowledged her during the vote of thanks and then everyone looked in her direction.

She had been so calm and unassuming throughout the event no one would have guessed who her dad was.

Empty barrels indeed make the loudest noise.

      diction, really????don’t talk about diction.
you are only emphasizing on that cliche she is an attention seeker, you heard them say it and u are repeating.she sets her own standards and not learn from people who have not gotten there yet.
please if you cant extol her beauty and glam, reconsider that flippant rubbish you wrote.

she doesnt own a plot of land let alone a land, so that designer BULLSHYT doesnt faze me, but to the materialistic FOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLS – i guess this shyt matters.

some people are so stupid its unbelievable, when some are investing in properties african mediocre actresses are investing in horse hair, expensive tech gadgets, bags, shoes, etc.

#spend money in property and then some acting classes,

BN…always making designer labels a big deal, like we Africans just found out about Prada of all things, as in how much is prada sef, I used to buy prada when i was a teenager for crying out loud. When you wear quality stuff, you don’t need to show it off, people will know. It’s like saying hey look….Beyonce is wearing a Valentino dress or carrying a Hermes bag, people already know she can afford those things and it’s not made a big deal cos it’s normal for her.

      November 15, 2013 at 4:34 am

Thank you. This is something BN editors need to work on. Funny thing is that those items aren’t even the newest season or from some exclusive luxury brand. And then the links to LV & Prada websites?? BN you fall my hand here.

  29. miss

    November 15, 2013 at 2:12 pm

You people should leave this woman alone. How she spend or
make her money is not of your business. Yes, she is an attention
seeking women. That is because people keep giving it to her. She
can’t act to save her life, she comes across as needy and she tries
too hard. But it’s her time that is how you have got to see

  30. Nicole

    November 15, 2013 at 3:49 pm

From the comments above, I can confidently say that, a lot of people suffer from low self esteem.
Only a person with inferiority complex feels another person is better off, and most people hide it under the cloak of criticism. To the person, blabbing about how she sleeps with men. Are you for real? Tell me, are you a virgin? There’s no business case for fighting someone who is already on the floor, no need to call a pig dirty, no need to highlight the fact that a retard is not mentally sound. If Yvonne is really an attention seeker and there is nothing special about her, you won’t bother your little head. If her achievements affect you so much, then you need to see a psychiatrist to deal with your esteem issues. As for the age thing, I know people lie, but I honestly think people should be given the benefit of the doubt on their age. I am only 22, but I look 27-30. I dont talk about my age anymore, because I am tired of arguing with people about my own age. I dont blame them though, sometimes I can’t even believe it myself. Besides, how does her age affect anyone, if she is really 28 will you kill yourself? When next you doubt someone’s age. Ask yourself why you are doing so. Is it because you are really surprised that the person looks older? Or are you pained that you are the same age with the person, if not older and you haven’t achieved as much as the person has. People really need to get their minds right.

    • Titi

      November 15, 2013 at 4:00 pm

Nicole, are you sure your MIND is right?!!! This is a rant…….calm down….or is this Yvonne?

@ Nolla, @ Cutie and the others stating that Yvonne is childish to be posting pics of her designer stuff and that “You peoples almighty Genevieve and Rita would not do such”, pls check links below posted on this same pages by our very dear BN

If it were Genevieve and her fake “after-trip-to-China” Hermes bag, you guys would be oooing and aaaing. All these actresses carry fakes, so lets not crucify one over the other.

  34. Keepingitreal

    November 15, 2013 at 10:11 pm

I feel really sad for a lot of people who are not fully
informed and aware. Guarranteed some of these actresses and co can
afford to buy one or two, but let truth be told, if you knew how
much these bags are for real? you will know that they can not
afford to buy all that they l want you to believe that they have.
No, not at all. Most of them don’t make that much for the kind of
life style they portray. You need more than acting and small small
endorsements that they get now and then. We all know how things
    operate in African countries.

Hmmm Naija people and jealousy.. I don’t see the
childishness in showing off your luxury items, even foreign stars
show off too. If una no fit afford am, be happy for those who can
afford it so that someday your turn go reach.choi… Some people
self dey claim to know the latest season items…I bet they don’t
even own a single designer bag or shoe or even the so called
property.. .. Yvonne is correct chic, your silly
    comments can’t and won’t change that fact…
