Yeah, life is indeed fleeting…I’m guessing there was a point behind the use of this particular photo.

As he walked with them on earth, he has now gone to walk with them in…err…the afterlife?

Death is not only reserved for sef go join them at the appointed time.

@corolla, no doubt, we all will and without any exceptions to that general rule. However, the real question is this – “at the appointed time”, on what side of eternity would you like to be facing when the pages of your life are being revisited? Would you like to be facing the same side as an evil despotic, murderous ruler (for the sake of argument, let’s just call such a tyrant by the name, “Abacha’) or would you prefer to have a better record of a life you won’t be ashamed to replay before your Maker?

I don’t know what kind of prayers Abacha prayed before he died but I’m certain that a lot of his cronies won’t gamble on wanting to join him in the afterlife. May the Odetola family be consoled as they mourn the passing of their father.

@corolla so who here has said death is reserved for politicians? Of course we all will go one day. And you will go too. Maybe today, maybe tomorrow, maybe next week, maybe later. Who knows? Just in the meantime, you can shut up and stop making senseless comments while still alive.

This man’s life was not “fleeting”… Do either of you even know the meaning of that word?

Chaii abacha Oooooo abacha this abacha that… These people don’t even know him personally but they always choose to say something negative because that is what they have been told for donkey years. Well they say a lie told a thousand times becomes truth so I don’t and can not blame them, But I would like to remind them that as they live now so the dead had before them, so they should always talk in religious accordance.. For our time shall come too and no amount of prayer at your time of death shall be sufficient enough to grant that passage we all seek to heaven.. Unless god wills it and it’s that simple. Abacha,Abiola,Adisa and lastly Atedola are all in heaven smiling down at us in wonder in sure.. May the souls of our departed rest in perfect peace and may the families of the departed find solace in time. Amin
