We really need fashion police in Nigeria, because some of the clothes am seeing in the name of fashion needs to be burnt.

    • Janet

      September 9, 2014 at 3:16 pm

I have missed BN red carpet!!! The comments alone will make you laugh tire.

      Ok so my analysis

Zedeye – you look good girl. Red suits you

Ajibola – very nice simple combination here, plain too and detailed skirt. Simple yet effective (Nigerians like to overdress sometimes)

Uru eke – if we split this picture into half. Top half 10/10 total hit . Bottom half -20/10. Which kin shoe you pair with this dress? Heeled sandals would have been best, not to mention you legs are looking somehow, get to the spa for treatment gyel.

Elohor – dress was boring and tailored incorrectly for her

Zainab balogun – gorgeous simple and sleek jumpsuit

Genevieve nnaji – my dear genny you and black! Anyway sha makeup and hair is good

TOOLZ – when will you hire a stylist for Christ sake. See the way your boobs are ready to bounce out of the blouse. Everything is so tight asif you wan burst commot for the cloth, and again the shoes are so mismatched. Biko Biko you are such a fine girl better hire better a stylist and do it fyast!

Mariam (couple section) – the green dress is amazing, you look good girl

Guy in red – hmmm this is nothing short of a total embarrassment. What kind of thing is this?

Olisa – Biko Biko better get serious and stick to trad wear, it’s not that you will
      Continue to disgrace yourself everytime

Trafic – you should be called tragic. Everytime you will destroy trends that actually look good when worn correctly. In this hot nigeria you will be wearing knee high socks? Gerrout!!!

Nigeria has very beautiful women in all shapes and sizes haba! Ngozi zed eye and Zainab. Balogun my #WCW. Their sense of style ….amaze balls.

Veronica Odeka looked the best I’ve ever seen her in any of these event pics.

For the men, Olisa, just give up. I love the beard gang!

  7. KeepingItReal

    September 9, 2014 at 11:19 am

For me, the best dressed- Elohor.
On another note, slit dresses does not look good on anyone. Just Because Rihanna wore
    It doesn’t mean you should,.
What’s this thing with majority of Naija men and skinny pants/trousers? Not everyone is an Abercrombie model. Make it STOP! Nothing masculine about a guy who squeezes himself in a tight pant.
Toke- Hairstyles with bangs will do wonders to your facial structure.
Worst Dressed- can someone please tell me why they let the guy with the all red suit, ad neon looking glasses/shades inside?
I Support the comment “We need Fashion Police in Nigeria”
Maybe bleaching Creme products might seem like a good idea in the beginning, but prolonged use Makes you look older, leathery, and hard to look at .
#Constructive Advice/Criticisms should not be seen as hateful#

haba for the love of GOD !!! look at the front of elohor’s dress , its not a nice sight am sorry and she hosted the show, boo common she could have done better, as far as am concerned many nig celebs need a long way to go in fashion styling, they have all the money, designer and names but don’t know how to make it work…

Oh Agbani, the 2nd photo makes me so sad, God at least you could haved dashed her a LITTLE, I have never seen an african girl with such flat ass, no nyash, no hips, just long legs sticking out her shoulders. Thank you Jesus for my bug juicy fat round nyash.

    • Nengi

      September 9, 2014 at 11:59 am

Has your “big juicy fat round nyash” as you put it shot you to international stardom? has it created jobs through start ups in struggling industries? Has it cemented you place in our nations history? I think not… Next time you want to make your self feel good, don’t put others down… it’s distasteful and reeks of inferiority complex…

    • Jennifer

      September 9, 2014 at 1:09 pm

Mimi, are you for real? You can’t question God on how He made Agbani of all the beauties in Nigeria so stop that break dance. Anyway, I noticed you’re thankful for your butt but not for your face….

    • IsThatWhyWeAreHere?

      September 10, 2014 at 12:17 am

Abeg rest, you need glasses………..this is the worst Elohor has ever looked for any of HER events, she is possibly one of the worst dressed at this event.

Can you not see the hair, can you not see her make up…………. Did you not see the shoes in this ill fitted gown,

I know tomorrow she will draw out attention to the brand name of this hideous gown and the fact that it cost $3000, and its limited edition, and its “fabulous” and its sheek and blaa blaa blaa

On another note, well done to the Elite Model Look Nigeria team, i believe on all accounts this was possibly one of the best events of this year so far.

Best Dressed for me goes to Fade and Zee of Zed Eye.

    • yemi

      September 9, 2014 at 2:20 pm

Her dress was Iconic Invanity. This time around she did not wear any expensive designer. That’s why I guess BN did not make noise.

  19. Sherry O

    September 9, 2014 at 12:34 pm

@ just speaking the truth, you seem to have a personal vendetta against Elohor, you need to chill pill before you have a nervous breakdown. Elohor looks her best, she is a natural beauty and doesn’t need any make up to validate that. Congratulations to Elohor and team for pulling off a great event.

  20. misstee

    September 9, 2014 at 12:53 pm

well i compiled a list of a few of em(don’t crucify me its my opinion)
For me personally Agbani Darego is the best dressed coupled with her lovely skin and all, shes all form of gorgeous
Tani Omotayo- What you wore didnt do you any justice especially with the pants.
Ene Lawani- shes got a unique thing about her. She has carved a niche for herself with her kind of style.
Zainab Balogun- Simple, chic and classy
Anna Banner- Baby, its not halloween
Toke- sassy, girlie girle look (nice)
Isis- Elegante, coperate classy(if theres a word to wrap it up).
Ik ogbonna- please can we dial 911 for people who wear glasses to an indoor ocassion.
and the biggest challenge or rather disastrous fashion sense has to be Olisa. My goodeness

  22. Que

    September 9, 2014 at 1:07 pm

I’ll just drop my major observations:
-there’s nothing trendy about Ugonna omeruo’s outfit…its a complete costume moment there, and awful for a modelling event- on the upside, she and Shade Okoya look like they were goin to d same after event…
-Nancy Nwadire….fabulous designer, nice body, but that outfit…MBA!…. LDA too, at barely 5foot with those stirpes….thank God for d rainbow colours, at least they will find you in that crowd….

-Elohor missed it. With this one, better at d back than front which just lookd straight.

-Loving Uju Offiah’s skirt. Pretty girl too.

-Muna….gorgeous…one of my favourite looks, minus that necklace- perfect.

-Ruby Gyang….so nice to finally put a face to the gorgeous voice…I cant bother about your outfit, just keep singing great!

Toolz belongs on stage beside Bovi. As Girl on fire with d clown atire n flaming hair!

linda ikeji looks like a woman in her 40s. some of the pictures here provide comic relief, but in all, most people looked good. elohor looked amazing at last year’s event, the year she looked very plain.

    September 9, 2014 at 1:15 pm

What the hell is Oliseh wearing? That coat, that horrible monkey jacket! The matchete tie! The nightmarish jeans tight around his crotch area and hanging away from on the floor like it is afraid! Jus tekelukatim! This is the reason y things are going bad in this country! MTSHEEWWW……………..!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  26. rita

    September 9, 2014 at 1:43 pm

Muna……hmmmmm….gorgeousness in human form. Loving the low cut again! Simple, classy n still gorgeous!! We really do need a fashion police….biko o, what is olisa wearing?

  27. Anon

    September 9, 2014 at 1:52 pm

Agbani’s front look yes, but the back no. A nice back picture is Elohor’s and that’s the only part of her dress that looks good because of the way her body hugged it.

“Aunty” Nkiru welcome back to the fashion scene.

Linda Ikeji has one look. No matter how she tries she always has one look.

Zainab Balogun worked that jumpsuit well.

Good the back of Fade’s dress wasn’t shown here. I saw it elsewhere and it was unflattering.

Anne Ogunsulire, did you look at the top of that outfit before wearing it? It doesn’t fit.

The lady in the picture below Leslie Okoye is pretty.

No socks were needed to be worn by Dilly. His trousers are tapered and the style of the footwear makes wearing socks redundant.

Madam Iconic Ivanity and LDA; I will let you off just this time because you usually turn out well.

Bola Balogun; boss lady. Muna and Ngozi Zed Eye; yes.

Peter Okoye was the best looking man.

Someone is MIA. I was going to ask but I better MYB.

This dude almost nailed it but he should have gone for darker shade of brown shoes or black patents. Even Navy suede might have worked too: http://www.bellanaija.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/BN-Red-Carpet-Fab-Elite-Model-Look-Nigeria-2014-BellaNaija-165.jpg

My take on all the looks are very lovely,we should keep praising our fashionistas, and stop hating on them, if u know too well,u can also join the train, lets see how u haters dress,am sure, u all will look so horrible and disastrous,,the guy in red looks different among all, that’s what made him won the best dressed.we all need a change, not the so-called everyday look. We need a change

Best dressed for me is Lamide Akintobi, simple and chic just my kind of style

Elohor looked nice from behind, as for the front…..I have no words
Ann: wats goin on at the centre of your boobs
Zizi: you are too old for that sorta dressing, letting your bra show? Hell no
Yolanda: I guess u were tryna achieve something with that combo but it didn’t work
Zina: I bet your butt cheeks are out in that short shorts….you are not on a beach, too short
    Olisa: WTF………
The first guy in the I stand out segment, all I can say is you really do stand out…..in a bad way
What da hell is goin on with the guys in the segment that says “inside” only a few look ok e.g Ty mix…….

I need to stop now, I have a headache already
