first of all, WHAT AN UGLY A$$ DRESS. dreadful is the word I will use to describe this dress.

it does nothing for both women and their figures.they both look shapeless, wearing that monstrosity of a dress. the bottom part of the dress looks cheap and amateurish.

how is it a custom made dress when 2 people are wearing that same dress? custom made dresses are usually one of a kind.

For once I agree with Bruno.

Bruno dear, custom made is not one of a kind. Please check out the meaning.

the defination of custom made in fashion means one of a kind, specifically made for you and your body. nobody is suppose to have that dress or that design.

may be they are sisters amd they borrow each others clothes.

No dear. See NaijaPikin definition below. That is exactly what it means; in fashion or anywhere else.

No custom made means it was made per your request. As opposed to off the rack.

I know it’s tulle but Big Bird wants her feathers back and wants to know why it was dyed to wine. The waist area looks wrong. Not a pretty dress. Bisola’s shoes are pretty so may just go with her.

Abisola looks so much like Amaka Benson, you’d think they’re related. Abisola and LDA both look good but it has a better fit (so to speak) on Abisola.

Na wa for all these comments o! i think both ladies look really good! The dress is very in your face but in a good way and I think it takes a real good fashionista to pull it off. Definitely not for everyone! LDA and Abisola look fab.

    The dress looks very masqueradey.

Most of these Nigerian “designers” are overrated tailors. The finishings on their designs are very disappointing.

Pls educate urselves custom made is made for u, while exclusive may refer to only u or a selected few….need I remind y’all that every outfit made by a tailor for anyone in naija is all custom made, don’t let the westerners who don’t enjoy that luxury feed ur ego with words that mean no big deal in naija e.g organic food…all we eat in naija is organic for their info.

      January 30, 2015 at 4:29 am

Erm first of all, please note that all you eat in nigeria is not organic! Organic refers to produce and food free of synthetic additives like pesticides, chemical fertilizers, and dyes. I dare say majority of the food produced in nigeria does not even come close to being free from fertilizers and pesticides! Educate yourself.

    • Tombra

      January 30, 2015 at 2:00 pm

Definitely, not all are organic. But I get his/her point. Compared to the western world, majority of the food on Nigeria and indeed most African countries are organic. Especially in the grassroot communities. Regarding fashion, what he/she said is on point.

This bridesmaids dress-gone-wrong should be locked away in a vault never to return. And they say she does couture? Funny.
