The collation of the 2015 election results which was supposed to continue this morning, has been interrupted, as PDP party agent, Godsday Orubebe led a protest at the collation venue in Abuja.
-INEC Chairman, Attahiru Jega urges officials to avoid disrupting the collation process, stating that if any individual has any grievances, they should submit petitions in an orderly manner after the process.
– The individuals who tried disrupted the process have been removed from the stage.
– Collation process resumes.
– One of the individuals who staged the protest has been identified as a PDP party agent, Godsday Orubebe, who is a former minister. He accused Jega of being “tribalistic, selective, and partial” in his conduct of election-related affairs.
