Tribunal Upholds Election of Abia State Governor
The Abia State governorship election petition tribunal sitting in Umuahia has upheld the victory of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu in the April 2015 elections.
In a ruling delivered on Tuesday, the tribunal dismissed the petition of former APGA governorship candidate, Alex Otti, Daily Post reports.
Otti had sought the nullification of the election of Ikpeazu on the grounds that the election was marred by irregularities and malpractice.
