Guys I know someone who benefited last year and he got N10m, but I totally agree that 12 membership fee is too much and 20k to open an account is ridiculous especially for youths without jobs and peeps just coming out of school.

I do not understand why it is necessary for entrepreneurs with great ideas to pay to join a professional network and open a bank account with a specific bank to benefit from a grant initiative. The structure is just like a lottery. We all put money in the pot and some lucky winners take the pot at the end of the day.

Doesn’t make sense to me. Grants should be given on merit.

Seems to me like the bank and the association just found a cheap way to grow their numbers. By dangling the grant carrot infront of entrepreneurs.

    Let’s do the math, guys.

    12k to join NYPF

Let us assume 100,000 Nigerians apply. Because work no dey and 100,000 people is minimum.

    N12,000 x 100,000 Nigerians = N1.2 billion.

But, the grant is only N500million.

    That’s a profit of N700million minimum.

We haven’t discussed the N20k that will be paid to open accounts at Heritage bank, thereby strengthening their capital base.

It is God that will punish those who scam those who don’t even have. Scam the billionaires instead nau. It’s only fair.

The opportunity is not listed on Heritage Banks website.

This is ridiculous! Haha, it’s never what we asked, but we appreciate as you wish to give. But, where the hell on earth do you expect dying number of Nigerian students to see such unreal money?

#20,000 plus #12,000 is a thing of lottery. You play the game while you expect to win or loose.

    That’s unfair,
