“We spoke just a few days ago”…Read Weird MC’s Tribute to Nomoreloss




One of late music star Nomoreloss’ closest friends in the industry, Weird MC, has taken to social media to share her grief at the heartbreaking news of his death.

The veteran rapper penned a tribute saying “Muyiwa words fail me I’m reeling in disbelief I’m in pain I’m trying so hard not to cry, but the tears are just flowing freely. We spoke just a few days ago you said “mama don’t worry I’d be out and about by the weekend” we even traded text messages. Friend brother confidant a pillar of strength. I’m going to miss our convos your laughter your jokes your smile. You were one in a million a true soul a thoroughbred. Thanks for being real thanks for true friendship Thanks for great music thanks for cowriting “Happy day” with me. i guess heaven was missing an angel sail on my dear friend fly like an eagle rest well. I will miss you so so much orun ire o orun ire o orun ire o. I’m sure I will share more words but for now…… May God comfort your family….”

    henceforth, I guess the song ma kpa mi oo iyawo asiko will always make me teary eyed… cos reading keke drivers comment made me grieve for @nomoreloss and his family… and I know them not personally.. I guess losing a young talented soul is a general loss for all Nigerian youth…

    So sad….really like his works. I can never forget his first song with Rugged man..”Ehn ehn”. And lately i fell inlove with “Ohun Oju ri”….. sleep on dear brother! We will miss u greatly!

    Oh my God!
    I didn’t even know he was dead. Seeing his name up there reminded me of his songs. Keke driver wrote the one i was singing. Let me add another song: ololufe don’t you know i love you, ololufe don’t you know i care. We’ll miss you! Rest in peace! God bless his family! God bless Weird Mc!
