Lol. This is a small world. I knew I had seen Richard Akuson somewhere before, turns out he is our bumshorts wearing BN-fan-favorite writer. Lmao. But he looked better in person and he smelled very nice when he sat next to me at the lounge with that CNN Africa Presenter Ketura (sp?). They were just talking in different foreign accents while I was busy eavesdropping. Richard, how u take get accent? Na repat you be too?

On a final note: i feel bad for the amaas. Rivers state government just made it their show. I hope they move it to lagos and get corporate sponsorship of some sort.

    Hopefully it gets better

BN, is it too difficult to get the names of the people’s picture you are about to post? I think its disrespectful.

Madam Peace is looking really different. From the what I see, I can say the event was dry….too many speech and too much cultural display. something seems Amis. Congratulations to the winners though.

one of the highlights of viewing these pictures is how, it seems this year a lot o women are ditching the golden rule and art of blending their makeup to their skin tones!!! seems 90% of the women dont do a flash test before heading out of the house, makeup artists in lagos, abi whereever this took place, whats going on? no blending, no proper contours and highlight! making 9ja women look like geisha’s

    • Didi

      June 13, 2016 at 5:45 pm

I agree… so many professional make-up artists now but it’s almost like it was better back when everyone did their own makeup. Some of these MUAs don’t seem to know how to blend properly and how to prepare faces for flash photography. Too many garish looks on the red carpet.

Rachael Okonkwo U look good, love your outfit. Well for me, I think AMAA attendees dressed better than AMVCA. This years AMVCA dressing was so poor.
