“I will be the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria” – Senator Dino Melaye

Speaking on Channels Television‘s Sunday Politics with Seun Okin, Senator representing Kogi West Senatorial district, Dino Melaye has said that he will be the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria

Melaye said that the Senate, under the leadership of Senator Bukola Saraki has done “brilliantly well”, and would have done better if not for “planted distractions” by people who do not want to “accept defeat”.

He continued, saying: “Everyone is ambitious, I am ambitious. Like I want to be the president of Nigeria”. When Seun asked if he really meant it, Melaye said “I will be”.
