NYFWSS17: Ankara Craze! See the Xuly Bet Collection by Mali Born Designer Lamine Kouyaté
Mali born, Parisian based designer Lamine Kouyaté of the iconic brand Xuly Bet used a lot of ankara/wax prints for his Spring Summer 2017 collection for New York Fashion Week this year.
Mixing the African print fabrics with denim and other prints, the designer’s collection had a lot of bomber jackets and tracksuits with some of the model rocking an afro or ankara/print scarf.
Other accessories like shoes, bags and even sunglasses had the ankara touch as well.

Weirdly, I love them all. The combos are well thought out creatively. Other fabric attachment to the ankara goes well. LOL
