Adrienne Bailon Breaks Her Silence on Tamar Braxton Feud

Singer-songwriter and television personality Adrienne Bailon and Tamar Braxton were close during their time together on ‘The Real’, but since Tamar’s time on the show ended the relationship between them has been strained.

The soon-to-be-married co-host opened up in a radio interview with Hot 97 about the current state of affairs between herself and Braxton. She once referred to Tamar as her best friend,her vault, her comedian and therapist but it seems like she is now no longer part of her life.

She said,

It had absolutely nothing to do with us. That’s above my pay grade, so to speak. I can’t make those kind of decisions

When asked if she still speaks to Tamar, to which she confessed,

I love Tamar. I will always love Tamar

Adrienne also opened up to her The Real cohosts on Tuesday’s show about her experiences with sexual harassment in the music industry.

The 32-year-old singer and actress said she was too young at the time to put a stop to the unwanted touches but would have done things differently if she were older.

I even experienced an executive that would kiss me on the lips. It consistently happened to the point where I was like, ‘This ain’t cool, man. Now he knows I’m not going to say anything.’

Bailon said she initially thought the kiss was an accident. Her cohost, Loni Love, mentioned that that is usually how sexual harassment begins.

Obviously that happened then, I would never allow that to happen now, but a lot of women are in fear. Fear has a big part to do with it. And two, these men are usually—

“Famous,” Jeannie Mai cut in, to which Bailon agreed.

Bailon, along with cohosts Love, Mai and Tamera Mowry-Housley were giving their reactions to First Lady Michelle Obama‘s emotional speech on sexual assault, which led Bailon to share her story.
