Sure! Looks 5 and 8 are lifted from this DelPozo look: google.es/imgres?imgurl=http%3A%2F%2Fhonestlywtf.com%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2F2013%2F09%2Fdelpozo6.jpg&imgrefurl=http%3A%2F%2Fhonestlywtf.com%2Fcollections%2Fdelpozo-spring-2014%2F&docid=eMNq8aIduMwJ4M&tbnid=JiV6JAPRONxmDM%3A&w=640&h=480&client=firefox-b-ab&bih=577&biw=1139&ved=0ahUKEwi7wb__l4HQAhUEzxQKHRBiBMA4rAIQMwhSKFAwUA&iact=mrc&uact=8 (the picture on the right, of course).

And that ‘buckets’ design is a Delpozo trademark. It’s how Josep Font, the designer, became famous. Here are some looks he did with it: google.es/imgres?imgurl=http%3A%2F%2Fbucketsandbunches.com%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2F2013%2F02%2Fdelpozo-02.jpg&imgrefurl=http%3A%2F%2Fbucketsandbunches.com%2Funcategorized%2Fdelpozo-rtw-fall-2013&docid=pQp5wT5DjnFt-M&tbnid=_qqPzL55hiBIPM%3A&w=580&h=870&client=firefox-b-ab&bih=577&biw=1139&ved=0ahUKEwi7wb__l4HQAhUEzxQKHRBiBMA4rAIQMwhlKGMwYw&iact=mrc&uact=8 and also miamidesigndistrict.net/blog/entries/116/delpozo-opening-in-the-miami-design-district/.

He has an architecture background, which inspires his work and the geometric repetition and choice of fabric to pull it off. His work is just too unique.

BN is not posting the links, so look up DelPozo Fall Winter 2013. That 3D-scallop or whatever design is a Delpozo trademark. It’s how Josep Font, the designer, became famous. He has an architecture background, which inspires his work and the geometric repetition and choice of fabric to pull it off. His work is just too unique.

I can’t see any exact copy , maybe similar inspirations with one or two pieces…. but this is fashion , how groundbreaking can every piece really be. I love Andrea’s collection a lot more .

I don’t like she copied but she used the same silhouette obviously inspired by Delpozo.

@Chrissy, is that right? so while writing exams in school, a student caught looking into anothers work is not copying but merely being inspired by his classmate yes??…. i hear you

I just checked out Delpozos collections and although I see that they had similar ideas for one or two pieces, even those pieces are still very different. To say that the Andrea Iyamah collection is akin to looking over someone’s (Delpozo) shoulder in an exam is just reaching too far.

BN ehn! I hail! It’s better to have zero comments than for BNers to descend on you. Now looking up delpozo.

I feel like the colours and cuts are what old-fashioned people call unforgiving. You have to be tinn or they add bulk in some way that you may not want. Maybe it’s intentional, as in, throw out the old rulebook.

    This is Delpozo. Blatant copying.
