Karl Lagerfeld brings Luxury to High Street Footwear in New Collaboration with Vans
Karl Lagerfeld and Vans are reinventing street style with a Karl Lagerfeld x Vans collection, which was be revealed over the weekend at Berlin-based trade fair Bread & Butter.
The collection features six different interpretations Vans iconic models including the Old Skool and Sk8 Hi high-tops, logo hoodies, printed tees, slightly altered to fit the aesthetics of the Karl Lagerfeld brand.
Karl shared a teaser of the collaboration on his Instagram
The Vans team said:
We’re really excited about this. Our design team worked closely with Karl’s team to make sure we built a collection that celebrated both brands — we wanted it to be iconic Karl meets iconic Vans. There are some styles that celebrate our classics with twists on the fabric or the print and there are some that are brand new styles for us that are a little bit directional and a little more Karl.
