"Let her know she's the most important thing in your life" Pastor Tony Rapu gives Banky W Marriage Advice - BellaNaija

Pastor of This Present HouseTony Rapu, who officiated at Banky W and Adesua Etomi‘s wedding has given Banky some solid marriage advice.

Sharing on Instagram a photo of himself at the wedding, Pastor Rapu wrote:

Dear Son,
These days many women are independent and quite successful in their own right . But always remember that even the most independent and successful woman wants the man she loves to love, honor and cherish her. To honour means to hold her in high regard and treat her like the lady she is. Make it clear to her that she is secure. She needs to know she’s worthy of your love and care. Give her your undivided attention and let her know she’s the most important thing in your life. Remember that the little things you do for her every day matter. Do remember to pray with her and for her on a regular basis.
Love you both very much.

Where is the letter to Adesua? It takes two to make a marriage werk.

First couple of weddings I ever attended as an adult, the sermons consisted of two hour messages to the bride on how to keep the home. With nothing to do husband except “you are the head of the home; you must provide”. 2 minutes targeted at the groom, 1 hour 45 minutes to the bride. After the first three weddings or so, I just decided not to go to wedding services anymore and focus on the reception.
Most times, 99% of all marriage advise goes to women on how to make their man happy, keep their home and maintain their marital status.. I guess Pastor Rapu figured Adesua must have had her fill of marriage advise since everyone from family, to friends to spiritual leaders will have been talking nonstop since Banky proposed on how to be a good wife. Let’s leave this one for Banky.

Adesua is not his “daughter”. He has spoken to bank as a spiritual son.

So with all the advice including war room that women are given everyday as regards marriage, you still want him to add more?

There is nothing wrong with advising both of them together. This advice here looks like the making of a mumu man. Women are insatiable. You bend a little they want you to kneel down. The letter should have been addressed to the two of them.

The message is channeled towards the couple(not banky), but since he is the head of the home, there is a need to help him realize how they should grow as a team, by nurturing her with love.

I do wish he’d said ‘person’ instead of ‘thing’. Sound advice otherwise.

He directed this to the both of them. Cape Town for a wedding was a great choice. The views and back drop of the ocean and the table mountains are breathtaking.

Nice one but are there any other people that go to the Church other than Banky? Are there other marriages that your attendance would have just made the couples day? This Celebrity thing has eaten deep into the system. I only say this as this advice had to be aired on Social Media.
