DSS report says Fulani Herdsmen, ISIS, Government-Sponsored Militia Operating in Benue & Other States

Security service organizations including the Department of State Services (DSS) have identified an Islamic State in West Africa (ISWA) network operating within some North Central and South-South sections of the country.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that this information is contained in a security report submitted to President Muhammadu Buhari recently by the affected security service outfits.

The report indicated that ISWA network was using foreign terrorists and recruiting young men to fight and kill innocent persons ostensibly to exacerbate tensions along the county’s ethnic, religious and regional fault lines.

According to a Presidency source, this discovery was made following the arrest of several suspected attackers made up of Fulani herdsmen, government-sponsored militias, militants and other miscreants in Benue State.

The source revealed that among those in custody were many who spoke none of the languages native to Nigeria. The source said some of the suspects spoke French.

“This is the first time that security officials have confirmed that the Islamic State in West Africa members are operating as a unit in Nigeria and the level of their penetration of the country,” the source added.

The source further revealed that a “good number” of the Islamic State terrorists had been arrested not only in the Benue valley but significantly in several towns in Edo, specifically in Akoko-Edo, Okpella and Benin as well as in Okene, in Kogi.

“It is understood that the cell, which has members in different parts of the country concentrates on recruiting young men to fight for the Islamic State in West Africa by unleashing the cold-blooded murder of innocent citizens.

There was intelligence that they had planned several attacks here, before and during Christmas and the New Year. Their bombing targets included fuel depots, foreign missions and police and military establishments.

Their network is very wide. But so much was achieved by the DSS which had made a significant number of arrests in the last two months that helped to preempt those attacks.

This helped to save Nigeria from the spate of major terrorist attacks witnessed elsewhere that were syndicated by ISIS worldwide,” the source maintained.

NAN gathered that the reports submitted to the presidency had also revealed that security officials now fear an influx of other ISIS members into many parts of the country.

“We are learning more and more about this complex and sophisticated network. This is the main reason why the secret service is not parading those suspects so far arrested. It has become clear to us by now, that the challenge facing this country is a serious one.”

When contacted, Presidency Spokesman, Garba Shehu confirmed that President Muhammadu Buhari had been receiving what he described as “report upon report on the situation in Benue and other states”.

According to him, the DSS has recorded a lot of success lately but said he had not been briefed on any of those reports.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) was established by the Federal Government of Nigeria in May 1976 to gather and distribute news on Nigeria and cover events of interest to Nigeria at the international level for the benefit of the Nigerian Media and the Public.

I have always said that Boko Haram is the creation of theWestern, especially USA intelligent services to break up the country. They gave the terrorist unit a name that diverts attention from them , to make it look like it’s anti- Western, just like the ai Qaida they created to fight the Soviets. Boko haram is not fighting about anything. These are hired terrorists or mercenaries to destabilize, break up ,force Nigeria to ask USA to set up a military base in Nigeria.or buy their arms to balance any trade deficit they have with us after buying our oil.Boko HARAM is funded by the USAID(united state aid for international development, what I call UNITED SATE AID FOR INTERNATIONAL DESTABILIZATION. Two African countries are aiding them, Chad and Niger. The deal was to drop crime against humanity charges against Idris Derby for his coorperation on this project with western intelligent services, especially,USA AND FRANCE. Honestly and completely close the borders with CHAD AND NIGER even for six months, and BOKO HARAM would be history.Nigerian politician are not really involved, but they have been corrupted to look the other way.The USA goes to African countries, seeks out the corrupt and corruptible military, intellectual, political and business “elites”, buys them over, and have them serve Western and American interests, even against the interests of their citizens. Calling us “shitHoles” means nothing to them because they have already been bought!!!!.Some of them may even make some stupid noises, but it’s all but stupid noises.

May our family members never be victims of these evil hired killers in any part of Nigeria.
May they be weeded out like weeds.
May their evil agenda continue to fail.
