#MAK16 Fun-Loving & Blessed! Margaret Eriom weds John Otu | Exquisite Events Abuja
Margaret Eriom and John Otu became soulmates from a simple “hello“, that unexplainable feeling you get when you met someone new and feel as though you’ve known them your whole life, and suddenly refuse to spend another minute without the person, because there is a sense of belonging that is deeply rooted by the love you have found for each other.
How We Met
from the bride, Margaret
We first met in my house. He came to visit with his Aunt and Uncle. I coincidentally opened the gate for them. My mum later introduced me to him as her first daughter and I was asked to serve them drinks. A week after the visit, he called. He said he got my number from his uncle. We basically just clicked from our first conversation. It was like we were old friends. No tension, no awkward moments. We just hit it off!
Proposal
from the bride, Margaret
John was in town with his friends, so he made plans to have drinks at Mayfair lounge in Calabar – just a normal night out I thought. So I invited my friends too, we all got there and before the night kicked off he popped the question right there and then. It was beautiful, I cried then he cried – but he won’t admit it lol. The ring was gorgeous and I was so happy to become his wife.
- A wedding planner is highly recommended, if you can invest in one you’d never regret.
- It is also important to work within your budget.
- Be prepared for misunderstandings, disagreements and try and be patient with your partner.
BellaNaija Weddings wishes the couple a blessed and happy married life.
